The Human Capital Group (Pty) Ltd

As a Partner of The Human Capital Group, I have established myself as an expert in human capital management, executive and graduate recruitment services. My role involved comprehensive leadership/organisational development, executive search, and specialist recruitment.

North-West University / Noordwes-Universiteit

As Project Manager of NWU, I was also instrumental in leading additional projects to include a Graduate Destination Survey and Employability Strategy.

Project Manager

During this time, I was instrumental in the continuous establishment of NWU’s Career Centre (CC). My role as Manager of the CC involved design and implementation of strategies to ensure its compliance with the University’s growth. I was also a key player of its teaching-learning environment, routinely reporting to multiple core groups which include the Institutional Committee for Teaching-Learning, the Teaching-Learning Forum, University bodies, and external stakeholders on the CC’s work.

Key Highlights:
-  Utilised networking skills to establish an extensive selection for NWU student use;
-  A key contributor to the CC’s runner-up status for Career Services in South Africa (2010 & 2015) and its 3rd place award from the South African Graduate Employers Association (2011);
-  Employed expertise in managing projects to successfully deliver a variety of promotional/company events;
- An established member of the Senior Management team, actively participating in developing strategic goals for the teaching-learning environment.

Manager

During this time, I led a full investigation into the commercial viability of building a Career Centre (CC) at North-West University. My role involved maintaining internal/external communication whilst securing approval for the overall business plan. As Project Manager of NWU, I was also instrumental in leading additional projects to include a Graduate Destination Survey and Employability Strategy.

Deloitte South Africa

During this time, I became an established member of Deloitte’s Experienced Hire Team. My role included the attraction, selection, and end-to-end recruitment of new talent/graduates. I was also instrumental in coordinating the company’s Employee Referral Award Programme.

Business Consultant

The Human Capital Group (Pty) Ltd - South Africa

The Human Capital Group is a leading expert in recruitment, HR consultancy, leadership development, and business management services. As its Executive Director, I was instrumental in establishing work solutions before the company’s formation and merger between Enkainia Work Solutions and Human Capital Acquisition Consultants. In my role, I also pioneered organisational change in the event of new/amended legislation, job classification structures, or advancements to technology. 

Key Highlights: 
-  A key contributor to operational and strategic management;
-  Established pricing strategies through various channels to include PR, advertising, sales promotion/management;
-  Led efforts to innovate market strategies, effectively responding to threats/opportunities for facilitating superiority among competitors; 
-  Supported client achievement of business objectives through individualised HR consultancy to determine requirements (i.e. staffing numbers, skills, needs).

Executive Director

BMW Financial Services

During this time, I maintained full responsibility for transactional functions such as medical aid, pension scheme, and payroll. As an HR Manager, I was instrumental in transforming processes to include talent management/ acquisition. In my role, I also functioned as BMW’s business partner to line management.

Acting HR Manager (Consultant)

Lyndhurst Auto BMW

During this time, I maintained full responsibility for the recruitment and selection process. My role as an HR Coordinator included effectively managing duties concerning employee relations such as absenteeism, disciplinary/grievance procedures, and annual leave entitlement. I was also instrumental in the development of a new employee induction programme. 

Key Highlights:
-  A key contributor to the company’s implementation of Quality Management & Analysis (QMA) programmes, continuously facilitating initiatives for improving its systems/processes; 
-  Generated associated documentation for optimal effectiveness of QMA meetings (i.e. quality manual/process descriptions); 
-  Expert navigation of Lyndhurst’s Doman Name System (DNS), updating accordingly with employee contract and letter of appointment details.

HR Coordinator

Potchefstroom City Council

During this time, I was instrumental in securing operational efficiency/effectiveness within the Executive Mayor’s office. My role as PA included communication with relevant parties concerning the mandate and portfolio of the Executive Mayor.  

Key Highlights:
-  Assisted the Executive Mayor with drafting political/statutory papers and in the lifecycle management of numerous key projects;
-  Successfully liaised with multiple core offices to include the Premier and political bearers on a local, provincial, and national level;
- Performed various tasks as required, including researching/submitting reports and preparing correspondence for authorisation.
