As the creator and host of the '12 Days of Viva Engage' knowledge-sharing campaign, I led a dynamic initiative aimed at fostering collaboration, sharing insights, and providing guidance to individuals navigating the world of Microsoft Viva Engage. Leveraging my extensive knowledge and expertise in the platform, I facilitated discussions, answered questions, and offered tailored solutions to customers' dilemmas.

🔍 Key Results:
▶ Cultivated 23 new LinkedIn connections, expanding my network and fostering meaningful professional relationships.
▶ Attracted 26 new followers, amplifying the reach and impact of the campaign across the LinkedIn platform.
▶ Addressed 21 customer questions and dilemmas, providing bespoke solutions within a 24-hour turnaround SLA to ensure timely support and guidance.

As the Yammer Adoption Specialist at Synamedia, I spearheaded the creation and implementation of a concise vision, purpose, and core strategy for utilising Yammer as a strategic communication and collaboration tool. Here are some key contributions and achievements:

🔹 Vision, Purpose, and Core Strategy Development: Developed and articulated a clear vision, purpose, and core strategy for Yammer usage, aligning it with Synamedia's organisational goals and objectives.

🔹 Tailored Yammer User Guides: Created customised user guides to streamline onboarding and ensure that all employees had easy access to Yammer, including detailed instructions on how to navigate the platform and utilise community admin features effectively.

🔹 Certified Yammer Training Delivery: Designed and delivered certified Yammer training sessions via Microsoft Teams, bringing the vision, purpose, and core strategy of Yammer to life for employees. These sessions utilised strategically aligned communities of interest and engaging content to promote active participation and adoption.

🔹 Community Engagement and Content Strategy: Implemented a community engagement and content strategy to foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing among employees, driving engagement and creating a vibrant Yammer ecosystem within the organisation.

𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐞: The Office 365 adoption programme objective was to raise awareness, educate users and build confidence in the use of Office 365 to establish a business improvement. The Champion network was the primary channel to reach end-users across Capita to create behavioural change and support a more open sharing culture. Yammer was the main vehicle to support cross-organisation communities and special interest communities, as well as supporting communication and teamwork within specific business units.  

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬   
- Increased the Yammer network ‘monthly active usage activity’ to 35,000 with 1.7 million read messages per month; within 14 months of introducing ‘New Yammer’.  

 - Organised and delivered online Yammer training to employees across the organisation – 9,500 delegates.  

- Coached and encouraged the Senior Leader Team to be more active on Office 365 with a focus on Yammer for the two-way conversations with staff-visible leadership.  

- Designed a Yammer course leaders guide titled ‘Bring Your Business Together with Yammer’.  

- Recruited approximately 350 people from across the organisation for the role of an ‘Office 365 champion’.  

- Offered a consultancy service to champions, leaders, community admins and communication leaders where my ideas and approaches were shared to bring their business campaigns to life across the Yammer communities.

I coordinate the Office 365 champion community and oversee the embedding and adoption of Yammer within Capita. Put simply; I recruit, induct and work closely with the Office 365 champion network to give them the confidence to drive awareness, education and usage of each Office 365 app, to bring about business improvements. I am also the Yammer community manager and host weekly webinars to educate, share tips and tricks with business users and Office 365 champions on ways to drive adoption and create a culture where people are sharing information, knowledge and ideas to ensure open communication and collaboration across teams, sites and the wider organisation.

𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐞: Reporting to the CPO, I supported the Employee Engagement programme to enable employee voice and input across seven sites. This ensured we all had a shared sense of purpose within the organisation. Within this role, I also led activities that supported employee contribution, recognition and commitment.

- Developed and launched a reward and recognition programme called ‘Employee Spotlight’ where the employee results survey post-launch increased by 30% for ‘𝐷𝑜 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑓𝑒𝑒𝑙 𝑟𝑒𝑐𝑜𝑔𝑛𝑖𝑠𝑒𝑑 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑡𝑟𝑖𝑏𝑢𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑡𝑜 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑝𝑎𝑛𝑦’𝑠 𝑠𝑢𝑐𝑐𝑒𝑠𝑠?’.   

- Introduced Microsoft Yammer Social Enterprise business-wide to address site silos, (increased) communication and (enhanced) collaboration, results.  Yammer became the go-to communication tool for the senior leadership team when engaging with employees across sites.  

- Developed, by working alongside a third party, an Employee Value Proposition (EVP) set of promises and utilised them to attract and retain talent. 

- Launched an employee perks and benefits tool called LifeWorks, which offered discounts to match employees’ lifestyle and needs.  

- Developed and managed the company-wide employee engagement survey and worked with key stakeholders on relevant action planning and feedback to get to root causes.  

- Developed a communication plan which included a weekly round-up of business news and a verbal all-managers communication monthly call, hosted by me.
