I am a Certified Pet First Aid & CPR/CPCR Instructor and pet industry professional. With a diverse background and passion for animals, my journey has been shaped by various roles and experiences in the pet industry. My higher education foundation was established at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and graduated with honors. I proudly served in the US Navy and transferred my enlistment to the US Army, earning the rank of Sergeant. I deployed to Kabul, Afghanistan, as part of Operation Enduring Freedom. My military experience instilled in me a sense of discipline, determination, and a strong commitment to serving others. My journey into the pet industry began with Kamp K9 Hawaii, providing exclusive overnight dog boarding services and building a reputation for excellence in pet hospitality. After 9 years of dog boarding services, I strategically shifted Kamp K9 Hawaii's focus, rebranding to The Pet Medic, with a new mission towards education and training, delivering top-notch pet first aid and CPR/CPCR classes. I aim to replace fear and panic with confidence and knowledge by equipping pet parents, pet industry professionals, and emergency first responders with essential skills to assist sick or injured dogs and cats. Driven by a passion for animal well-being, I pursued certifications in pet first aid and CPR with my 1st certification through the American Red Cross and 2nd certification in Dog and Cat First Aid & CPR from Pro Pet Hero by ProTrainings. Advancing my training I earned my 1st Instructor Certification through Pro Pet Hero's in Pet First Aid, CPR, Safety, and Health Assessment and 2nd instructor certification in Pet First Aid & CPCR from Pet Safety Crusader by Sunny-dog Ink. Through my training, I have the opportunity to share my expertise, impart valuable skills, and make a lasting impact on the well-being of pets and working dogs in various communities. I actively continue my education in pet emergency care and safety to ensure I stay up-to-date with the latest protocols and best practices in the field. I am a compassionate professional, an avid learner, and a dedicated advocate for pets. My unwavering commitment to providing high-quality training and education in pet first aid and CPR/CPCR sets the stage for safer, more knowledgeable pet owners and professionals across the US and beyond.
