Bert’s expertise in search and recruitment dates back to 1995, when he co-founded Protis Global, an award-winning search and recruitment firm specializing in the F&B, CPG, Pet, Cannabis, and industries including Automation horizontal to each vertical. Protis Global has built some of the most iconic brands in the CPG space, has launched several start-up beverage companies, and has consistently ranked in the top 10 of Consumer Products offices over the last 15 years, generating over $100M+ in permanent placement fees. In 2019, Bert acquired MRINetwork to lead the organization through an successful exit in 2022 to a publicly traded company. Bert led MRI global offices through digital transition and into a new era of talent access. His vision was to effectively scale MRI’s unique network model while supporting existing members with proven tools, training, digital media products, and technology. Bert founded ace Talent Curators, a contract and fractional recruitment firm in 2019 that has quickly ascended into the Top 10 amongst professional contract firms. Bert is an active speaker, mentor, advisor, and investor. He hosts the video podcast series, Beyond the Bottom Line with Bert Miller, on which he interviews CEOs and leaders from across categories on issues impacting the World of Work.
