I joined Octopus as their first HR hire when the company was 75 people and within 2 years scaled it to 250 globally dispersed team members, including a team of 7 People and Talent professionals, spread across Australia, NZ, UK, Europe, and the US.

This role involved a lot more than People and Culture. It was operations, compliance, strategy, executive leadership, and all the other 'fun fires' that leaders in a start up deal with. It was chaotic and also a lot of fun.

- Development and execution of the People strategy globally 
- Part of the executive team 
- Development of the foundational policies and processes, including implementing the first HRIS
- Scaled and led  a team of permanent and contractors

In addition to my role at PSC Consulting, I am also a coach at Startmate, where I share my expertise with aspiring entrepreneurs.m. My passion for people and culture drives me to create positive and inclusive work environments that foster growth and success.
