In July my income took a nosedive,  I had more than a 'mini' melt-down… 
I questioned EVERYTHING. 

A few months back I recognised that although I loved my work, I felt the need to elevate not only my brand (*again*), but also my audience and my positioning to match my own elevation.

In July on holiday, pool side, iced latte in hand, on a sun lounger in Ibiza - it hit me. 

I had an itch and I decided to go all in on scratching it.

I had built an incredible brand, I had a ton of accolades as a Leadership Coach - 
but I knew I was accelerating and evolving at a rate of knots. 

I knew change was brewing and I’d resisted it for a few months already… 

When I looked objectively, I’d built something pretttty incredible. 

I didn’t often allow myself to appreciate that, as I was always looking ahead and striving for *more*. 

I reverse engineered how I built my brand: 

Sold out every offer I launched in 2025. 
Strangers in a 100+ person event in soho house recognise me in the loos. 
Invited back to the same stages I spoke on just 6 months prior.

That went to the very well deserving Sophie Jane Lee of course (and there would have been a petition led by me if it was any other way)

➡️ I won by speaking on a panel at Content To Clients (C2C) live on Wednesday and caught up with the epic community. 

Sharing my truth, finding what worked for me, what didn’t, my weaknesses, what I would have done differently (spoiler alert: "nothing" but Katie Skelton's face was a picture). 

I spoke there 6 months ago and even this week, the number of people who have come up to me and shared the impact of that talk back in March - blow's my mind.

If you'd told me this time last year that my community spaces would look like this, I'd never have believed you. 

I spent FAR too long avoiding launching, having a fear of failure of community spaces. 

Not any more. 

So those spaces, let’s take a peek behind the curtain shall we?


1️⃣ First there’s the women. 

My spaces are now well known for attracting incredible like-minded, ambitious, women Leaders in their field who roll up their sleeves, get stuck in and are ready to not only be challenged, but take bold action.

2️⃣ Second is the vibes. 

The energy is *always* insane. 

Women come for the lessons but the electric, high vibe, consistent high-energy is a massive plus. 

Why? Because when you’re in a zone with fellow women all vibrating at a high frequency, you can’t help but be inspired to believe that *anything* is possible for you too. 

(Because, put simply, it really is). 


3️⃣ Third is the content. 

If you think it’s all about the vibes – think again. 

I go above and beyond. I treat my £33 spaces like you’ve invested 4-figures. 

I *know* I provide pure gold from my vaults – it’s up to you what you do with it. 

(But let’s say when my clients have ran with it? They’ve had sold out spaces too 🤌) 

When your content matches up to what you're sharing online, your people won't be able to get enough of you. 


4️⃣ Fourth is the Leadership. 

I don’t just talk the talk, I walk the walk. 

I give to myself first each day with the things I’m obsessed with; learning, moving my body, lifting heavy sh*t, hydrating. 

I’m consistent, I stay in integrity and when my boundaries get tested either in public or in private, I stick to them. I dress up, I show up, I lean into hard conversations both for myself and equip my clients to navigate them too. 

Because when you do the same and show your clients how you lead yourself, *this* example is something they desire for themselves and your best clients are willing to invest in.



5️⃣ Fifth is last but certainly not least – it’s the transformation. 

The results my clients get? that’s what keeps them coming back for more. 

That’s why I have such a high retention rate at over 80% in both my group and my 1:1 spaces. 

My clients don’t get a pat on the back and a gold star, they get honesty, they get stretched and they get the support they need to take big bold action. 

Because when your clients *know* for certain you’d challenge them to achieve what they once only dreamt about? That’s a result they buy into again and again and again...

It stops giving ‘proving energy’ 

And starts giving ‘she’s the one for me’ and has your ideal clients DM’ing you the key word you used in your CTA (finally) 

Authority is what makes clients and opportunities seek you out, instead of you convincing or pitching yourself. Hello speaking gigs, award nominations and ‘I’ve been following you for ages and I’d love to work with you’ messages

What Dubai influencers taught me about taking up space.


I’m baaaack from Dubai and my goodness, the influencer game? 

Next frickin level compared to London. 

Ok, I’ll admit, at first I smirked and mocked. 

Then, I heard my inner voice asking me to take a closer look.

Here’s my key lessons I learnt:


You don’t take in the view.
You ARE the view.

Unapologetically.
Loudly.
With zero second guessing.

Selfie stick in the busiest tourist area? 
No problem.

In fact, hire yourself a photographer and a whole production team and you won’t look out of place.  

Outrageous outfit, sky heel heels and a full face of professional make up at 10am? Standard.

Healthy egg white omelette and veggies… purely so they can sample three types of croissants after?

Of course.

Dripping in head-to-toe designer? Yup.

Still taking a Tupperware to the breakfast buffet so they can have a free lunch later? Absolutely.

What I saw was, authority isn’t about what you wear or where you are. 

It’s about the self belief, the attitude and the  energy you bring into the room (or the rooftop brunch).

It’s the quiet knowing that you belong *everywhere* you decide to show up.

That your voice, your presence, your brand deserves to take up space.

If there’s one thing Dubai reminded me: 

Stop waiting to be invited. 
You’re the whole damn main event.

And you need to take that very vibe into your content. To take up more space unapologetically, to own your stories, what makes you special, what makes you tick, why your dream fit client would hire you.

You’re posting about your offer to your audience, yet those stripe notifications remain elusive. Here's what's going on:

You’re so freakin' proud of what you’ve created and you know the content and the delivery is going to be pure gold. 

Yet, despite posting about your offer, you don’t get sign ups. 

You post again. (and again). 

Maybe you even share a free webinar thinking that if only people could experience you and your brilliance, then they will buy. 

But that doesn’t seem to hit the mark either as too few people are signing up. 

People in your audience are supporting you. Your peers and friends are reposting your content, which you think should help because, the more eye balls the better right? 

Wrong.

Despite what you've been told, it's NOT a numbers game. 
Because more eyes just amplifies the silence. 
Making it even more deafening. 

The support is because your friends and fam love you and want to see you thrive. 
But it's not an indictor that your content is where it needs to be. 

(Don't confuse the two). 

You’re left feeling flat, you’re getting more than a little pee’d off as you feel like you’ve done all the right things and yet… your DMs remain decidedly empty and stripe notifications aren’t pinging off the hook as you’d imagined. 

I know this feeling very well. 
It’s so real. 
I’ve 100% been there. 

…and I learnt how to move through it, to sell out every offer in every single space I’ve created this year. 

I can look at your content and know in 2 mins what’s *really* going on. 

The reason your content isn’t converting is because you haven’t spoken with authority about who you are and why you’re the person your clients should listen to.

You’re posting about your offer in a way that is more 'hope and pray' - rather than in a strategic way that screams leadership and expertise. 

Even though you speak from the heart, the outcomes of your work are too vague, too big picture and sound a lot like every other coach and every other offer out there.

You don’t become a big name 7-figure coach just by hiring one.

I still have PTSD from one of my first ever masterminds back in 2020. 

Sold as 'close proximity' to a HUGE name in the industry, multi 7-fig coach, but the reality was no where near worth the equally huge $15k price tag.

I got burnt. And still have the scars to prove it. 

'Close Proximity' in this instance meant I could ask 1 question every other week. 
Along side about 25 other people. 

...and the person who strongly advised I join? She got 15% kick back. 
I was so very naive. 

I'll say it again:

You don’t become a big name 7-figure coach just by hiring one.

Yes, proximity matters. *REAL* proximity - not what I describe above. 
Yes, seeing others succeed shows you what’s possible.

But that alone won't get you to your next income bracket. 

What will? 

Your ability to implement and embody what you've learnt. 
Your ability to lead yourself through challenges and hold yourself to higher standards. 
How you change the way you view yourself, your identity changed forever.

Don't hire a coach for a name. 

Hire a coach for the gap you have, for the result they have that you desire, for the rapport and the proximity.

And yet… how many have actually made it out alive?
Vs. how many are rotting away in the graveyard of ideas that never see the light of day?

Your problem isn’t a lack of ideas.

It’s the fear of being truly seen.
It’s wondering if you’ll be judged, shot down in flames for daring to have an opinion or, worse yet - pouring your heart and soul into content that gets 2 pity likes from your peers. 

But that fear is costing you BIG time. 
It's costing you visibility, opportunity, and the authority you keep saying you want.

Content doesn’t build a brand.

Courage does. 
Being a thought leader in your field does. 
Standing out in the sea of noise does.

- Was my first 5 figure cash month in Business. (and multi 5-figs in sales). 
- I was fully booked with 1:1 clients and corporate workshops. 
- I delivered a keynote to my largest audience to date. 
 
 
I was celebrating a LOT of incredible things. 
So much was going well. 
 
So far, so amazing right?

What more could I possibly need I hear you ask?

Well.... I felt the same until I joined Samantha Harman's 2 week WORKIFY challenge. 
 
She reminded me that the enforced house arrest was already 5 years ago, that wearing my lulu's on client calls probably wasn't the best energetic match, even if I had a nice top on. 
 
And the rest, as they say, is history. 
 
November 2024: 
 
- Was the month I *knew* I'd outgrown my girl next door brand. 
- The month I was certain I was destined for more. 
- The month I got fckn dressed. 
 
And today, almost an entire year on, I'm pinching myself this is my life now. 
It's a full circle moment.

NGL this was one LinkedIn profiles I was *itching* to get my hands on. 

She was doing more than great already with a handful of 10k months under her belt, some real clarity on who already thrives with her AND regularly getting booked in for corporate workshops.

Spoiler alert: Your personal brand isn’t *actually* about you.

Let me explain.

Most people think “personal brand” = showing off your achievements, your shiny CV, your list of accolades.

But nobody hires you, promotes you, or follows you just because you look good on paper.

Your personal brand is about the way other people experience you.
It’s the signal you send, not the bullet points you’ve stacked.

⚡ It’s how people feel in the room when you speak.
⚡ It’s the conviction you hold when you share your ideas.
⚡ It’s the authority you carry that makes people think, “She’s the one.”

Your personal brand isn’t your highlight reel, 
It’s the translation layer between who you are and the impact you create for others.

So if you’ve been treating it like a self-promo exercise, you’re missing the REAL power play.

A strong brand doesn’t scream “Look at me.”
It whispers (with authority): “This is why you need me.”

So let me say it again, loud and clear: 
Your brand ISN'T about you.

It’s about the space you take up, the influence you hold, and the impression you leave with others, in every interaction.

It's about how your people experience you and know without a shadow of a doubt you're the one who can take them to their next level.

It's about how you have positioned yourself to become the obvious choice for the opportunity you crave, the speaking gig, signing your next dream client, landing your biggest contract ever. (All decisions *other* people are making.... do you get it?). 

Question time:

If people walked away from a meeting with you tomorrow, what would be their main takeaway? What is your brand saying about you, without you actually articulating a single word?

Do you Contribute? or do you Lead?

Think about it.

Who is truly leading and pioneering in your industry?
Who are you looking to for inspiration, for guidance?

For some time now I feel like I've ben leading conversations around Leadership, visibility, branding, showing up, blowing up and being tagged in countless posts on line. 

(oh and don't just take my word for it. I was named Top 10 content creator in my field by Favikon this year). 

It's evident not just in my results, but in my clients too and the results they get. 

Not *only* traditional business success: more revenue, more speaking gigs and clients. 
But also in their personal wins like running marathons, becoming more confident in all areas of life and losing weight.
