I know that behind my back I've been described as a witch (and also it's rhyming cousin) more than once at work - and I'm OK with that. 

I can't please everyone, and if I were unwilling or unable to stand up for myself and what I believe is right, I never would've make it to the c-suite. I also wouldn't be in a happy marriage or living as life as close to 'having it all' that's possible.

I'm excited about this week's episode with CAMERON HEROLD, founder of COO Alliance and Invest in Your Leaders   where we speak about the COO role in 2024, the COO role in general and how to be a good leader. 

I loved our conversation because we love talking with people who share our values. Out of all of our guests, Cameron's life view is the closest to mine. I was amazed at how many things he said that I find myself saying over and over again. I'll be interested to hear if regular listeners hear the same. 

Unfortunately, I can't remember any of the examples now beyond how to give praise well because, as I've mentioned before my memory is shocking at the moment. But my overarching feeling after the episode was - this guy thinks like me - except he's wiser and more impressive.

And since he's awesome and thinks many of the same things I do, then, thanks to the law of transitivity*, I must be awesome, too. 😇 

But anyhow, enough about me. This week Brandon Mensinga and I have a wide-ranging conversation with Cameron including--

This is a bit of a surreal moment for me. One of my work heroes, CAMERON HEROLD, joins us for the podcast today. 

I remember spending many hours listening to Cameron talk about what good looks like in the COO role during my first run at the job back in 2017.  

We also received a like on our last episode from another work hero of mine, the amazing Scott Galloway. The Pivot podcast was a pretty direct inspiration for the format of the Operations Room.
