My background is diverse: I’ve been a strategic planning and financial leader for nonprofits in health care, mental health advocacy, children's services, and underserved communities, and also a lender, technology leader, risk manager, governance executive and change driver in three of the world's largest financial institutions. My values: Be clear, effective, kind - and bold. This means I analyze and assess, articulate the tough choices, build trustworthy relationships and collaborate with stakeholders, create a sound plan, and then help my clients build the courage to make change happen. Teamwork makes everything possible. My life experiences, like moving often as a military kid, gave me an appreciation for the similarities that unite us despite our differences. I create a positive work environment and foster cooperation from all stakeholders, while supporting and holding each other accountable to reach our goals. I love to recognize the successes and value of each team member at every level, and my teams know they’ll get credit for the great work they do. And finally, for over 30 years I’ve been a seasoned leader of many successful “remote" or virtual teams, with members located across the country and the globe.
