Follow up quotations, Bids analysis with end user and purchase order deliveries.
Constantly monitor vendor’s performance and update it to Purchasing Supdt. for evaluation.
Clarify end-user queries to ensure purchase order is placed for the right material / services.
Negotiate fair pricing without compromising on quality of goods or services.
Perform other jobs as requested by the Purchase Manager from time to time.

Huta Marine Works Ltd. provides marine related activities, such as dredging, harbor construction, and other civil engineering works. Its dredging services include capital dredging/reclamation. Huta’s its own equipment include dredgers, grab dredgers, floating cranes, barges, and tug boats and multicats.

•	Receiving of P.Rs, preparation of quotations / inquiries, providing copies of quotations to requester, follow up of replies from requester, correspondence with supplier(s) if any, preparation of comparative statements, preparation of supply agreements / P.Os. of the following equipment ensure about the cost, quality and availability of product before purchasing.
•	Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase materials from overseas vendors. Terms of delivery of goods / payment terms / validity of offer / origin of goods.
•	Release of PO, supplier clarifications, follow up for material / services delivery etc.
•	Follow up of payments with finance for cash against docs. / Advance / L.C.
•	Loss / damage of shipment, if any on transit to prepare documents for claim of goods. 
•	Export of materials - Preparing export invoice / packing list.
•	Request documents from the bank for settlement under terms C.A.D. / L.C. to Finance / H.O.
•	To maintain files / documents and custom clearance followup (airfreight / seafreight / Land).
•	Checking shipping docs. (INV, C.O., packing list/AWB or B/L) are in order for clearance. 
•	Follow up with custom clearing agent for clearance of goods by airfreight / seafreight.   
•	Requesting for Marine cargo insurance policy for abroad orders (airfreight / seafreight).
•	D / W and Monthly reports to the Management.
•	Coordinates with store and finance department for documentation
•	Successful negotiation with new and existing supplier resulting in economic savings and increase in service levels
•	Assist staff with queries and problems procurement systems and processes, and address/resolve any non-compliance issues.

Prepares reports, presentations, memorandums, proposals and correspondence to head office.
Employees Monitoring Visa processing, preparing new employment proposal on seaman book, and visa, passport control and joining formalities site transfer, employee database, arranging exit interviews, clearance forms, memo to head office etc. and ensure that these activities happen in a timely and efficient manner, and in line with the company requirement. 
Assists office staff in maintaining files and databases. Prining emails and forwarding to the concern department wise for their action and follow up until it resolved. 
Request for visit visa for visitors, Visa processing & documentation – monitor the necessary documents for new visa for selected employees, arrange / follow up for necessary documents.
Preparing daily / monthly timesheets for company employee / rental employee.
