Senior Campaign Coordinator

• Spearheading the planning, executing, and managing of high-impact online marketing & advertising campaigns for major FMCG companies such as Kenvue, Unilever, Colgate-Palmolive, L’Oréal and Coty across diverse European markets, assuming leadership for the Italian market.

Sign Salad

During my work experience at the cultural insight agency Sign Salad, I gained a deeper understanding of the connection between symbols, signs, words, sounds and their meanings. 
Throughout this experience, I had the possibility to attend and actively participate in team meetings, project reviews and reviews of case studies. Through sessions delivered by and conversations with the industry professionals that work at the agency, I have gained a deeper understanding of semiotics and linguistics, and the review of case studies allowed me to witness from beginning to end the process of understanding how culture affects the way people respond to brands and their products, and how to use strategic thinking and creativity to ensure that such brands can stay culturally relevant.
To conclude this journey, I also successfully delivered a presentation to the team, centred around the semiotic and linguistic analysis of a chosen piece of packaging. This allowed me to effectively apply theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios and receive precious, constructive feedback. 
Throughout this work experience, I demonstrated adeptness in extracting insights from real-world case studies, further honing problem-solving skills and strategic thinking. Eventually, I gained a more comprehensive knowledge of cultural strategy, semiotics and linguistics and a versatile toolkit that I will carry forward in my career.

Work Experience

University of Bristol

Being a Global Lounge Ambassador has given me the opportunity to participate in various educational events, embracing different cultures and traditions. I would say there are two parts to my job: one is more office-focused, while the other is more related to events. 
For the first part, I have worked ‘front of the house’ shifts, taking care of the office by ensuring that it is clean and stocked for students to enjoy and, when needed, redirecting students to the necessary resources. An important part of this is being mindful as one would interact with people from a variety of nationalities, and also because one would be handling food so it is important that the space is cleaned and sanitised. I have also independently planned and delivered several campus and city tours for different kinds of audience.
For the second part, I helped in the set-up and delivery of different cultural events, working alongside other ambassadors and senior staff. This implied organising the space and material, working with a team, and independently and proactively following instructions. It also required acquiring the relevant knowledge and using interpersonal skills as I interact with the event guests, giving them information about the celebration and helping them during the undertaking of activities. Therefore, communication, fostering inclusivity, organisation, initiative, teamwork and creativity are all fundamental characteristics of this role.

Global Lounge Ambassador

As a Senior Peer Mentor, I managed a group of 17 mentors while they supported first years students in settling at university, meaning that I was responsible for roughly 40 students. My job was to collect updates on the mentees’ progress and well-being and to support mentors in their role, by answering their questions and helping with their doubts. While working within an overall structure and timeline given by the senior staff of the scheme, I had freedom in the way I decided to get the updates, which increased the level of responsibility.  I have received great feedback from my mentors that confirmed the success of our relationship. 
Furthermore, I went beyond the simple description of the job and got more involved within the scheme by having an open line of communication with senior staff and other SPMs through emails and meetings and participating in the planning and delivery of different events. For these, I have collaborated with the team to plan inclusive and creative events that would encapsulate the essence and values of the scheme. During the meetings I was able to promote my ideas and give feedback, effectively shaping the future of the scheme, an opportunity that I am beyond grateful to have received. Moreover, I have been asked to participate in the marketing campaign, attending promotional events and appearing in promotional material such as leaflets and a video. 
Being a multifaceted role, my success in this role depended on numerous skills. The mentoring part naturally required effective communication, leadership, organisation and time management skills, as I undertook this role alongside other curricular and extra-curricular commitments. On top of these, I necessarily had to present initiative, creative, critical, organisational and teamwork skills to work with senior staff and fellow SPMs to deliver the successful events we hosted.

• Participating in the design and production of an award-winning short documentary.
• Showed skills in screenwriting and film shooting.

•	Reorganised the archive. 
•	Assisted in site inspections.
•	Received lessons around the history of architecture and basic training in SketchUp and Photoshop software for creating architectural drawings.

I am a marketing professional, passionate about creative project management, with a focus on culture, arts and media. Currently, as a Senior Campaign Coordinator at The Brand Power Company (a WPP company), I lead campaigns for major FMCG clients such as Unilever and L’Oréal and manage social media for the Italian division of Home Tester Club.

My internship at Sign Salad sharpened my strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, while my role as Events Manager at the University of Bristol Volleyball Club showcased my ability to effectively manage events and resources. Proficient in various programs and software, I am fluent in English and Italian, with additional knowledge of French and Japanese.
