I am a strategic school marketer and leader, having spent the past 10+ years working in senior marketing roles in Queensland independent schools. Schools are my thing, but I gained excellent marketing and PR experience in corporate and government roles before I started in the independent school sector in 2010. I am proud to be a marketing generalist and, if we're being honest, you have to be when you work in schools. Marketing, PR, event management, communications, web development, video editing - the list goes on! I have a deep appreciation for digital marketing and love developing marketing strategies that are innovative and differ from the norm. I made Concordia's "Queensland's Best Kept Secret" video project happen in 2020, which has gained well over 80,000 views, on the back of a clear strategy. My ability to develop strong, meaningful working relationships with colleagues, business partners and the media has been a cornerstone of my career. I prefer working in environments that are ethical and collaborative, where innovation, initiative and creativity are encouraged and celebrated. A healthy dose of fun is also very much appreciated! I'm passionate about school marketers having a seat at the Leadership table and have developed a strategic framework to make it easier for time-poor school marketers to develop strong marketing strategies.
