I am a data engineer who enjoys working across the modern data stack, spanning data infrastructure management, building data ingestion pipelines, data modelling and transformation, workflow orchestration, and business reporting. Even though I spend bulk of my time in data engineering, I collaborate closely with machine learning engineers, data analysts, data scientists, product managers, data leaders and business stakeholders to lower the friction of generating value from data. At the same time, it is not uncommon for me to wear multiple hats in a team depending on business needs. As someone who enjoys learning, on average I spend 20% of my time picking up a new tool or diving deep into data/computer science fundamentals, enabling me to bring fresh and multiple perspectives when it comes to problem solving.
