I was the QA team lead of the quality assurance team testing financial investment applications. I am responsible for the following:
- Preparing and maintaining QA Sprint Planning documentation and Release Notes for each release to live.
- Compiling feedback from 1 on 1 with QA Engineers, having biweekly QA team meetings to discuss how to progress based on concerns raised then following up with managers to get approval on plan desired plan.
- Creating and maintaining QA process documentation.
- Providing evaluation on new QA Engineers.
- Testing web applications and WebViews.
- Creating  Flowcharts to describe the processes followed by the applications under test.
- Analyzing Business Requirements artifacts like Confluence Documentations, Localization sheets, Zeplin Designs, performing impact analysis on them to discover issues ranging from workflow, edge cases, design, spelling mistakes, localization and impacted functionalities and following up with Product Managers to fix, update and enhance the BR artifacts before implementation starts thus saving costs early in the software development process.
- Preparing test scenarios and test cases in Google Sheets, executing them and documenting test progress on them.
- Reporting bugs and enhancements in JIRA, and verifying fixes.
- Using Postman to execute test APIs to simulate Live environment behaviors and transactions and prepared documentation on them.
- Performing Backend testing by checking the impact of frontend actions on APIs.
- Making presentations on best practices and on how to improve the current processes including Test Driven Development.
- Performing smoke tests to ensure builds are stable.
- Participating actively in requirements refinement sessions, sprint planning, retrospective meetings and daily standups while providing suggestions on improving the processes.

I am part of the quality assurance team testing financial investment applications. My tasks include but are not limited to:
- Onboarding new Quality Assurance Engineers and trained them on the QA process and the applications we work on.
- Testing web applications and mobile apps including Android and iOS apps.
- Creating Use Case Diagrams and Activity Diagrams to describe the processes followed by the applications under test.
- Analyzing Business Requirements artifacts like Confluence Documentations, Localization sheets, Zeplin Designs, Invision Documents and Lucid Charts, performing impact analysis on them to discover issues ranging from workflow, design, spelling mistakes, localization and impacted functionalities and following up with Product Managers to fix, update and enhance the BR artifacts before implementation starts thus saving costs early in the software development process.

Quality Assurance Engineer

My main responsibility was to test solutions developed built on ArcGIS and ArcFM using SCRUM and Waterfall methodologies. Some tasks performed are:
Performed analysis on the current service delivery framework as part of the process of implementing Process Areas of CMMI Services and Development Maturity Levels 2 and 3.
Performed analysis on how to implement Process Areas of CMMI Services and Development Maturity Level 4.
Interviewed Professional Services Engineers (Business Analysts) to understand the business need and business objectives behind solution and requested changes then interviewed developers to find out how the business needs and objectives are met with the designed solution.
Elicited requirements from business and technical stakeholders to understand system functionalities so that I can test them.
Collaborated with internal stakeholders to perform root cause analysis on some issues I faced.
Tested Desktop and Web Applications built on ArcGIS and ArcFM products and reported bugs in TFS and Azure DevOps (formerly VSTS).
Prepared and modified User Acceptance Testing (UATs), Test and Acceptance Plan (TAPs), Activity Diagrams (Process Models) and User Guides on applications tested.
Created and executed test cases in Azure DevOps.
Researched new applications and technologies and performed demos on them to the team. 
Kept track of new patches and hotfixes to ArcGIS and ArcFM products and communicated them to respective teams.
Ran complex SQL Queries in Oracle and MS SQL Server databases to test some applications.
Configured GIS applications and prepared documentation on them.
Gave training to a client on using ArcGIS and ArcFM tools.

My main responsibility was to test an application developed on the iPad and a portal using the SCRUM methodology. The application is designed to reserve Golf carts and sell products to tenants. Some tasks performed are:
Perform Back End testing on MySQL database using MySQL Workbench 6.0 CE.
Write Test Cases and execute them in TestRail.
Report bugs in JIRA and retest bug fixes.
Performed regression testing at the end of each sprint.
Verify data created in REST API using Postman.
Lead and mentored a junior QA.

Anzima/Netways

My main responsibility was to test releases of Banking, Credit Management and CRM applications developed in IBM Domino and MS SharePoint framework using Waterfall and Scrum SDLC methodologies and report issues in Team Foundation Server (TFS). Some tasks performed are:
•	Prepared a Software Quality Assurance Procedures document to set up standards to be followed by the Software Development teams based on best practices learned from experience and research which include complex diagrams prepared in MS Visio.
•	Teamed up with developers and Business Analysts to provide user friendly applications with clear documentation that would facilitate clients day to day activities, increase cost savings and improve customer experience.
•	Worked with the Development Manager on improving internal processes to mold the Software Development process into producing more efficient and effective results.
•	Created Lists, Document Libraries, and Workflows, and setting permissions on different levels in MS SharePoint.

IT Analyst

Baltimore Gas & Electric

I was a member of a team working on deploying the Smart Grid system in the Baltimore area. The Smart Grid system used a combination of hardware (Access Points, Relays and smart Gas and Electric meters) and software (Silver Spring Networks UtilityIQ) to achieve its goal. My main responsibility was to assist the QA Lead in managing the testing effort along with the following tasks:
•	Developed a meter reservation system in MS Access and prepared documentation and training on it.
•	Wrote test cases and uploaded them into Quality Center using an Excel Add in.

Outage Management System Support Group, Business Support Analyst
I supported multiple applications including an Outage Management System (OMS) by managing updates and addressing issues and change requests. The Outage Management System was Client-Server application developed in Java and Oracle that tracked electric outages and calculated the source of outages and work being done. The Outage Management System included maps of Electric grids created in GIS systems. Responsibilities were:   
	Used Remedy to report Defects, create Change Requests, track Service Requests and saw them to resolution.
	Worked with Oracle teams and Database Administrators to address issues.

I worked on a migration project from a Legacy system to a web-based application developed in .Net framework that monitored tasks assigned to Utility contractors (gas and electric) and informed all stakeholders of progress of projects. Responsibilities were:
	Gathered requirements from subject matter experts and wrote Business Requirements.
	Wrote and executed test scripts, found and reported bugs.
