Hi, I'm Billie. I'm a VC backed entrepreneur with over ten years experience in strategic partnerships and revenue generating roles. Most recently I have had the privilege of founding and leading, Ferly, an audio app for women's health. I'm most proud of the fact that Ferly is a wonderful example of the positive impact businesses can have on the world when profit and purpose converge. Our contributions in HealthTech earned us a spot among the top 100 innovators in the field. Whilst our success and approach has garnered attention in notable publications like The Guardian, Forbes, and The Sunday Times, and I've been fortunate enough to be featured in interviews for BBC's Women's Hour and The Evening Standard among others. This journey will culminate in a book that I have co-authored; it will be published in Jan 2025 with Penguin Life. I'm passionate about the power of community and credit my personal achievements to the network I have intentionally cultivated through advising and establishing impactful partnerships with C-suite executives at leading financial institutions, venture capital funds, and startup's. As a mentor and coach, I leverage these relationships to support founders at the start of their journeys, whilst simultaneously connecting corporates to innovative solutions. I've always been driven by a desire to ensure that technology acts as a force for reducing global inequities, rather than exacerbating them. Today, I'm particularly excited about the potential role of AI in achieving this goal, especially in education and healthcare. As a speaker and author, I enjoy discussing topics such as health and wellbeing, leadership, growth, fundraising, partnerships, and technological innovation.
