I founded and led a self-funded boutique Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) firm, scaling the organization to a team of 35 professionals. Our mission was to support Talent Acquisition teams by rapidly expanding recruitment capacity during periods of high demand.

We provided full lifecycle recruiting, dedicated sourcing teams, executive search, and talent mapping services—delivering tailored, high-impact solutions aligned with each client’s strategic goals.

Throughout our growth, I built trusted executive relationships and partnered with global brands including Lenovo, Sony Mobile, Sage Software, First Citizens Bank, Holiday Retirement, Brinks Armored Car, and Dimension Data—driving consistently strong hiring outcomes and long-term partnerships.

As the Recruitment Manager at Sony Mobile, I held the responsibility of overseeing all recruitment efforts for North America. During my tenure, I played a key role in establishing comprehensive end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires. I successfully managed a team of recruiters and outsourced partners to effectively fulfill the Talent Acquisition needs of the business.

A notable achievement was spearheading the recruitment of a team of engineers based in Raleigh, who made significant contributions to the development of one of Sony Ericsson's best-selling mobile phones. Additionally, I led the recruitment efforts for the establishment of new offices in Atlanta, GA, and Redwood City, CA, assembling high-performing teams to support the company's growth in these regions.

To maintain consistency and align recruitment efforts globally, I collaborated closely with talent acquisition teams across different regions, developing and implementing cohesive strategies for processes, branding, and tools.  Upon closing the North Carolina office, Sony Mobile became the first client of Active Candidate Management.

Led a global team of recruiters for wireless and landline telecommunications technologies. Provided training to Beijing and Hong Kong management. Established outsourcing partnership for non-strategic hiring needs.

Recruiter for North American Service (2001-2003):
Managed recruitment for Wireless and Land Line Installation and Services organizations. Met hiring requirements through internal mobility and external sourcing. Supported downsizing and talent assessment.

North American Recruiting Manager (1999-2001):
Oversaw Talent Acquisition for Sales, Professional Services, and Installation Services divisions. Supervised 50 recruiters. Successfully executed large-scale staffing projects. Achieved over 3,000 hires, representing 32% of Nortel's U.S. hires in FY 2000.

Started a contingency recruitment firm with a friend without any idea of what we were doing.  We hit profitability within the first year and worked with some of the largest network, software and telecom equipment manufactures.
