Bill Patrowicz is an architect of strategic ventures for frontier science, security, and infrastructure. He founded Kaiser Research to create new opportunities for governments, industry, and academia to work together on ambitious science and technology efforts. His work focuses on public-private venture — especially in advanced computing, space, and Arctic operations — where durable progress depends on clear purpose, shared investment, and institutional trust. Bill serves as an Executive Counselor to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Arctic Center of Excellence. Over his career, he has led national security programs, built international partnerships, and brought together world-class professionals from across science, government, and industry. He is a U.S. Army veteran and a graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Outside of his formal work, Bill founded a nonprofit that helped hundreds of disabled veterans find new careers. He has represented the U.S. in two sports and swam 30 mile open-water ultra-marathons.
