Why am I interested in Training and Education? Starting with my work study through the University of Michigan, I began really analyzing what I valued in a career . As a Public Relations Assistant at WUOM Radio, I enjoyed the camaraderie I had with the radio hosts when I ran into them and writing PSAs. At my work study with the National Institute for Burn Medicine in Ann Arbor, I enjoyed doing presentations on burn awareness and prevention, creating campaign information, and coming up with ways to be more efficient. For instance, instead of counting flyers to send out, weighing them on a postal scale in 25 count increments. Throughout the positions I've held, over the years I've found I value creativity, customer service, improving processes, and helping people. Training and education tap into these areas. Furthermore, good training and education also bolster confidence and morale. Areas of Proficiency: * Microsoft Office -- Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher * Databases - MCIR, and various mortgage industry databases * MS Teams * Zoom * Adobe Professional * Learning modalities including auditory, visual, and kinesthetic In my free time, I also enjoy being active outdoors through hiking, skiing, walking, and traveling. I also play electric guitar, acoustic guitar, piano, and keyboards, and dabble in songwriting.
