Despite expectations for a career in healthcare, I transitioned from nursing to technology in 2018. My interest in cybersecurity was ignited following the significant cyberattack on the city of Atlanta in March of that year. I love anything related to cybersecurity, cloud, and AI because they represent the forefront of technological innovation and are pivotal in shaping the future of digital landscapes. The dynamic and ever-evolving nature of cybersecurity challenges me to stay on the cutting edge, continuously adapting to new threats and devising robust solutions. Cloud computing, with its scalability and efficiency, fascinates me as it revolutionizes the way organizations handle data and applications. Additionally, the vast possibilities that artificial intelligence unlocks, from enhancing security measures to optimizing business processes, inspire me to explore the limitless potential of intelligent systems. These fields not only align with my technical expertise but also fuel my passion for contributing to advancements that have a profound impact on the way we interact with technology and secure our digital future. My passion extends beyond cybersecurity to address gender inequality, particularly within my cultural context where women are not traditionally celebrated. My objective is to empower women and minorities, fostering a community of skilled technology professionals and supporting their progression into leadership roles in prominent global organizations. Having traveled to 18 countries and 35 states, I've cultivated an open-minded and adaptable perspective. I am actively seeking full-time roles such as Cloud Security Engineer and Junior Cloud Architect. Proficient in AWS, Docker, Splunk, Wireshark, Linux, Terraform, and TCP/IP. Outside of my professional pursuits, my hobbies include skydiving, hiking, kayaking, paragliding, running, pottery, table tennis, and soccer.
