Since 1999 I have built two companies from the ground up; first, a local service business, and second, a consumer product brand that sells and ships product all over the world. The back story? Too long to tell here, but I like to think I have used my ability to work with all types of people and my scrappy skills to "figure it out", while solving problems with a solution based approach. I believe strongly in accountability & hard work while placing high-value in relationships. Oh ya... marketing helped too. I'm passionate about fly fishing and business, specifically D2C marketing & brands. I also love sports, great food, visiting big cities, & outdoor activities. But my best times in life are when these interests are shared with my wife and five kids. The experience and discipline of being independent since 1999 has allowed me to grow and develop leadership, sales, problem solving, decision making, and business strategy skills.
