With over 25 years of experience spanning entrepreneurship, management, and marketing, I thrive at the intersection of education, innovation, and economic development. As an Associate Professor for 15 years, I have shaped the next generation of leaders through courses in Management, Marketing, Business Communications, and Entrepreneurship. My passion lies in empowering students, faculty, businesses and the community to foster an entrepreneurial mindset that drives real-world impact. Previously, as Sr. Director of Marketing and Communications at NACCE, I led strategic initiatives that reached over 2,000 community colleges and influenced 3.3 million students nationwide. My work included spearheading marketing and PR efforts, co-authoring two books on entrepreneurship education, and launching initiatives that support veterans and their families. Beyond the classroom, I now collaborate with USF CONNECT, contributing to programs that drive entrepreneurship, innovation, and economic development. My work supports startups in incubators and accelerators, faculty, and students in building sustainable businesses and fostering a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem. For over 14 years, I’ve proudly served at Hillsborough Community College, mentoring aspiring entrepreneurs and championing the role of community colleges as catalysts for innovation and economic growth.
