As an Artificial Intelligence Researcher at the European Commission's Joint Research Centre, I have been leading and contributing to various projects that monitor and facilitate the implementation of the European Strategy for AI. With more than six years of experience in this role, I have developed a deep expertise in generative AI and large language models (LLMs), as well as a broad understanding of the economic, social, and public impacts of AI. My passion for AI and data policies stems from my academic background, where I obtained two PhDs in Computer Science from the Delft University of Technology and the University of Cyril and Methodius. Before joining the European Commission, I also held positions as a professor, a CEO/CTO, and a management board member, where I gained valuable skills in teaching, entrepreneurship, and leadership. I am always eager to learn new technologies, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and apply my knowledge to create innovative solutions that benefit society.
