I want to be your insurance guy and I have a selfish motive for wanting this. Several years ago, a pivotal moment reshaped my career and ignited a profound sense of purpose within me. At 33 my friend Rob was diagnosed with liver, lung, and lymph node cancer. As Rob's illness progressed, he lost everything he had worked so hard for. I witnessed him and his family having no choice but to live in his grandmother's basement. They all had to rely on his grandmother's modest CPP and OAS payments. Needless to say, they faced serious financial challenges. At the time I had no way of helping his family. This sense of helplessness fueled my determination to prevent others from enduring a similar fate. I committed to dedicating my life to assisting others through the power of insurance. This commitment transformed my view of the insurance business from a mere profession to a calling. Each day, my primary goal is to help at least one person, ensuring they don't find themselves as vulnerable as Rob did. Insurance, I discovered, is a crucial tool providing peace of mind during life's most challenging moments. I feel privileged to connect with people from diverse backgrounds, and every interaction reinforces the significance of my work. Guiding a young family in securing life insurance. Assisting a business owner in safeguarding their company's future. Every step in this profession is motivated by the memory of my friend Rob. Being entrusted with the responsibility of protecting clients and their loved ones I feel is both a privilege and a duty. One crucial lesson from my experience is life's unpredictability, and we can never be too prepared. I feel my mission is clear.
