Outgoing, ambitious, and committed—I am William Blake Pezzarello, a self-driven, third-year Accounting major at Ontario Tech University, studying on a full scholarship. As a natural leader and cancer survivor, I learned the importance of a positive attitude and staying strong no matter the pressure. My work as a Guest Experience Leader at one of the most successful McDonald's franchises in Canada helped me develop my people skills. My internship as a staff accountant with Baker Tilly developed my public accounting skills and defined my passion for a career in business. At MNP, I refined these skills and gained more experience in audit. As I continue my studies, I am laser-focused on my goals, both interpersonally and academically. Family and friends say that I have a vibrant personality, ready to face challenges with an enthusiastic attitude. When not doing homework, you can find me seeking sponsorships, working on spreadsheets and running the business operations of the Ontario Tech Racing team. Strong retail management skills, such as tracking sales, reporting and counting inventory, and operating an industrial cash counter have prepared me for positions in various industries. Currently, I am learning ERP software to broaden my technical expertise. I am resilient and resourceful.
