Blythe Keeler Robinson is a highly regarded, innovative and passionate leader. Robinson has over 25 years of non-profit management experience with expertise in early care and education, program design and implementation, fundraising and grant writing, and contract review and negotiation. Robinson is currently the President and CEO of Sheltering Arms Early Education and Family Centers. Founded in 1888, Sheltering Arms is Georgia’s oldest nonprofit early childhood education program and one of its most respected. Sheltering Arms serves more than 3000 children ages 6 weeks to five years old and their families in 13 centers across metro Atlanta. Prior to coming to Sheltering Arms, she served as the Senior Vice President & Chief Programs Officer of the Early Learning Coalition of Miami-Dade/Monroe, Florida, which provides services to more than 50,000 children and their families through 1,500 early learning centers. She directed programs and strategic initiatives as the Vice President of Strategic Planning and Initiatives at Reading Is Fundamental. Robinson serves on the Board of Directors of the National Black Child Development Institute, the board of Directors of the International Women’s Forum-Georgia Chapter and the Atlanta Speech School Advisory Board. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. While in Florida, Robinson was recognized as one of South Florida’s “40 Under 40 Leaders of Today and Tomorrow” and “50 Most Powerful Black Professionals.” She has been named to the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s list of “Atlanta’s 40 Under 40 Leaders”, "Who's Who in Black Atlanta", Atlanta Tribune's "Women of Excellence", Atlanta Business League's "Top 100 Black Women of Influence" and the YWCA Women of Achievement. She is a member of the Leadership Atlanta Class of 2015. Robinson holds a BA in Government and Politics with a certificate in African American Studies from the University of Maryland, College Park and a JD from The Georgetown University Law Center.
