As an accredited personal and executive coach, I work mainly with professional people under pressure - particularly care managers, vocational assessors, teachers, nurses and other health care workers, and social workers - to work out what needs to change, so that you increase your effectiveness, well-being and resilience, in our changing world. Over the last couple of years I have focused increasingly on climate issues, working out what we have to do in this desperate situation. Qualified to degree level, I have a nursing background as an ex general nurse, and 30 years experience in the health and social care field. I was involved in the management of homes for the elderly and later in assessing staff in these areas for professional qualifications. I have undertaken freelance writing in the social care field (details on request). In 2009 I discovered coaching and have done as much as I could ever since! I have a level 3 qualification in Workplace Coaching, and the level 7 ILM Certificate in Executive Coaching & Mentoring; I have worked with the Institute of Customer Service (ICS) holding their Solutions Professional Award and acting as an accredited External Assessor with the ICS. I am a certified NLP Practitioner and NLP Coach. In March 2012 I completed Time Line Therapy Practitioner and Hypnotherapist training. And I used my time in the 2020 lockdown to gain Accredited Executive Coach status with the Association for Coaching. I am a Member of the Institute of Leadership and Management, and in January 2011 I joined the Association for Coaching as an Associate Member. I'm currently doing part time assessment and verification alongside building up my own coaching business. I have recently agreed to join a very successful global business supplying high quality products to support personal health and wellness, and part of this role is to coach others to create their own business in this area.
