VIQU are an Elite Recruitment Business Partner to one of the UK's largest IT Vendors, who have premier partnerships with Microsoft, Cisco, VMWare, Splunk and a bunch of others.

I'm the senior escalation point and conduit for our relationship, and happy to help flying the VIQU flag with these guys, as well as making sure our internal talent are looked after.

Current highlights:
 - Over 150 stakeholder meetings with numerous solutions created for contract and perm requirements;
 - 4 Enterprise-level companies looking to work on rate cards for contract and perm recruitment;
 - Creating and finding contract opportunities, working with numerous stakeholders in businesses to generate over £16k a week in contract book growth.

Account Director

At VIQU, I was responsible for creating expert recruitment consultants that have a deeper knowledge of the environment around Cyber Security, to really be able to have good conversations with candidates and clients alike.
I designed an intensive course, based on feedback from customers within the recruitment industry, that allows each consultant to spend time getting to know:
 - Their market specialism to a level to have in-depth conversations with candidates and clients alike;
 - How to build and maintain good candidate and client relationships, looking at strategic gain over short term wins
 - Finding the perfect people for the right jobs, first time.

As a result of this, each of the five trainee consultants were able to place their first placements within 8 weeks, with the first placement being made just 4 weeks into the academy.

I was part of one of the most comprehensive L&D teams in the Recruitment industry and am extremely passionate the development of all our people. I was heavily involved in the induction process for any new starter through a series of:

 - Competency Assessments (Assessing real job competencies based on relevant situations)
 - Performance Coaching (Both on an individual and small group basis)

Over my time in the role, had a positive impact on:

Delivering Foundation Learning XL programme (Maths, English, ICT functional skills plus NOCN Step-Up Diploma to 16-18 year olds and sourcing apprenticeships/jobs/college places.

I work predominantly with Professional and Social Development of learners, and make sure they are ready to face the challenges that Apprenticeships and the world of work may have for them. During my time there I was subject to internal inspection, and received a Grade 2 inspection result.

My main activities included:
 - Creating detailed lesson plans for the entire 13 week training course
 - Utilising different training and coaching styles to engage with different learners
 - Creating a positive "Learner Journey" for learners of all learning types
 - Achieved a 83% succession rate for learners on the NOCN Diplomas (at Entry Level 3 and Level 1)
