Bob Jennings is considered an industry "OG" - one of the early-stage celebrity Creators within the YouTube community. He was the senior producer and talent for the famous “Annoying Orange” YouTube channel from 2010 to 2016 –receiving over 2 billion views. He served as lead director and managed and contributed to the team that wrote, produced, edited, animated, and voiced the channel – including co-starring in the Cartoon Network version of the show. As part of the first era of massive YouTube channel successes, Jennings built a network of senior leadership at media companies. He has monitored the development of the industry from its beginnings. Many senior leaders consider Jennings a talented futurist, having predicted many of the trends that became a reality in the digital media and Creator Economy space. As an advisor to cutting edge Digital Media companies and Creators, Jennings continued at the forefront of the development of the social media community, investing and advising multiple Creator Economy companies including StageTEN, the video commerce platform powering Shopify’s CDN and powering live-selling & events like Mr. Beast’s Creator Games for YouTube. They also work with Target and Netflix. Other companies include Kornit Digital, Koji, which monetizes link-in-bio, Flipside, the XR-focused creation toolset and Social Bluebook, which creates valuations for brand deals with Creators. In 2018, Jennings was invited to join the first class of Roblox video Stars with his Liam the Leprechaun YouTube channel. He was involved in the Ready Player One Roblox event at their headquarters and also produced branded content with the Eh Bee Family for Nintendo. Jennings has spoken on several panels at Industry events like Vidcon, Playlist Live and Buffer Festival. His work with digital media companies and Creators has included content strategy and development, monetization strategy and execution, general business development, and acting as a master-connector into many senior executives in the digital media space to develop relationships with cutting edge platforms, technologies, consumer product incubators, and more. Background After graduating from Emerson College, Jennings was a Project Coordinator & Product Manager at the prestigious American Film Institute (AFI) from 2000 to 2010. He managed events, video productions, compliance documents, grants, and spearheaded the AFI Screen Education program.
