"You can't let life get in the way of living". - Bonnie Hewitt Nearly a decade ago while working as an accountant and raising my two children alone, I was struck down by a rare illness and left paralyzed. Guillain Barre Syndrome had attacked my immune system and attempted to take me out. It didn't succeed. Over the past 10 years I've been diagnosed with multiple chronic health conditions, had two more children, and attempted to go back to my old life only to realize, that's not where I was supposed to be going. I had to let go of who I was in order to find out who I was really meant to be. Fast forward to 2022, and I've healed more than just my body and mind, but also my soul. I managed to start a business and pitch my way to winning $50K in cash and prizes on David Meltzer's new Bloomberg TV show, 2 Minute Drill. I am currently educating people about how money really works at Virtuity Financial Partners with HOF RB Marshall Faulk, scaling my apparel business Posh Notions, learning to speak, writing my first book, and helping others manage and calm their anxiety through coaching them with what I've learned. I'm also raising kiddos, continuing to heal, protecting my energy, and sipping my favorite dark coffee. Making my way a little each day. :)
