Adfero Ltd was an online information service company, which produced news feeds and technical integrations for information and search engine optimisation (SEO) purposes. As Editor in Chief and latterly Chief Operating Officer, I drove services that enabled the business to turn over more than £10 million and to employ over 300 people. 

o	Organised and led a department of over 200 online writers and journalists based on multiple locations, providing web content for more than 700 customers
o	Oversaw the franchising of the business into international markets – setting up operations in the USA (Brafton) and Australia (Castleford Media Pty Ltd)
o	Devised, set up and ran comprehensive recruitment, induction and training and staff assessment programmes from scratch
o	Working with software developers to build proprietary rendering and delivery technology, led the development of an online video news service, which generated profits of over £100k in its first year

o	Repeatedly promoted over three years, from entry level to board level (as Editor I was responsible for the whole of DeHavilland’s political monitoring service, including the construction and maintenance of media databases, constituency databases and future events planners)
o	Served on the executive team that prepared the business for sale. I organised and documented all internal company processes as part of the due diligence/handover
