Any business has opportunities for growth and profitability, which can be identified by someone with the right skills. When I do this for a company, there is a huge amount of value. This seems illogical that someone outside a company can see better what can be achieved than someone within it. I am happy to say that I doing this for IFIS Publishing on an employee part-time, as well as other growing companies on a contract basis.

However, time and time again, it is clear that outside experience, a different point of view and creativity are required to unlock value. An idea is nothing if not implemented, which is why my services also include implementation and coaching.

The only way to get things done is to bring people along with the idea, which is why people skills are so important. With many companies there is a "knowing-doing" gap. I can help bridge this gap successfully.

No one hires someone from LinkedIN unless they are satisified there will be value gained by hiring an unknown. The challenge I can set to anyone is "show me your business, who you want to target, what you want to say and how you say it" and I should be able to improve it for you. 

It is a challenge that I can accept and I would like to help you potentially if you feel like an outsider may be worth talking to. Please get in touch and tell me your problem. I can briefly outline what I think the solution might be, (without going into huge detail because that is what I get paid for).

Doubling revenues and circulations was fun. 

A bit of a highlight was working with editorial and design geniuses before, during and post Euro 96 when a few of us took a kids football magazine to a stratospheric 250,000 a week peak. It seemed every 10 year old in the country was reading our baby.

Amazing to think we had HP Match beans and burgers and Wall's Match lollies selling in the millions. (Where are the football lollies now? Oh yes, the football lolly now is with the agents.....)

Just having the conversations about intellectual property rights with Manchester United and Everton were worth the entrance price alone, ( Everton is a part of Liverpool  so we're printing the stickers!)

And I'll never forget the freelancing I did for Wotsits and the £1277 I was paid (which resulted in a 17% uplift  - I didn't really understand royalties back then!)
