I’ve had enough.
You might’ve noticed I’ve been a bit quieter here lately.
There’s a reason.

After the complete ignoring of all communications & gaslighting of stalking victims on this platform, I couldn’t, in good conscience, keep paying £55 a month to support it.

So last week, I cancelled my membership.

LinkedIn won’t notice.
Millions of users. 

One less won’t matter.

But it matters to me.
Because I care about me and my people.

Back in 2006, I built my own network because what existed didn’t fit.

On one side, you had the loony left of networking, Chablis & vol-au-vents, Mayor banging on about increasing parking provision at a shopping center. 

On the other, the hard right “Where’s your visitors? Where’s your referrals?”

Where was the middle ground?
It didn’t exist. 

So I made it.
People of course laughed, when I started out…

They said it’d never work.
If I’d listened to them, they’d be right.

68,000 real-life UK networking meetings later… 

I created a £2m+ business from a standing start, zero investment.

Well I’m doing it again.

Only this time, it’s primarily online.
And this part is important, it’s an all paid membership & invite only.

The Motivational Business Network.

Think LinkedIn with less noise.
Less showboating.
Less algorithm-loving selfies about “giving value.”

It’s for established business owners who want to grow themselves, their teams and their businesses.

As in really got your back. 

That’s what Motivational Business Network is about.

A culture.

See the Wild West esque, lawlessness on here has increased, Li don’t care, it’s too big, too sprawling. 

I’ve a convicted jailed online stalker, yet they did nothing. Nothing.

The noise has gotten too loud to ignore.
It’s history repeating itself. 

On one side in here you have a digital ghetto of abuse and bad behaviors, the other a neon soaked everything’s perfect instagram style posters

I’m 52, I don’t need “influencing”

That’s not what real business world is about.
So I’m building somewhere quieter.

I think Li has lost any internal compass it once has, it’s got to big for its boots, online community aren’t built by algorithms, built by the members.
People.

They seem to have forgotten that bit.

Profits > People. 

So for those that are interested, in Q1 when we go hard launch, it’s still going to be invite only. 

Fewer people. 
A greater voice, bigger impact.

At some point, you have to stop fighting battles that cannot be won by fighting.

Not because you’ve given up, but because you’ve grown.

Peace is not weakness. 
It’s power under control.

The truth is, every storm eventually passes.
Every problem has a worse-before date.

And when you stop meeting chaos with chaos,
you start to win.. in silence.

I’m chatting with my mentor right now sat in my garden today on Saturday and he just shared “that it’s better to be a strong good guy than a weak one. Strength isn’t in shouting, it’s in choosing not to.”

By holding your line with calm, with class, with belief that life & business always sort itself out, how do I know this, because over the last 52 it always does.

So breathe.

Whatever’s been weighing on you, let it go.

You’ve made it through worse.
You’ll make it through this.

I have around 75+ names along with each their posts, comments and recorded and captured. 

If I was to post them all for all to see, your reputations and businesses would be ruined instantly.

A really bad day in the office. 

You're fortunate, that’s how you and I differ.

This was clearly an unwell woman, who today spends the next few years in prison, maybe if you as a ‘friend’ spent the same time and energy you did trying to villify me, in trying to get her the help she needed, she wouldn't be spending Christmas locked up on the wings. 

Disgusting.

Same goes for Linked In 2022 (from memory) chose not to act to as we suggested, which may have gone someone to save her from herself and save all of the independent victims from the years of reputational ruin as a result of the legally documented stalking, we’ve each had to endure.

Get a conviction and come back to us they said. 11 months ago we got a conviction. 

Yet you 100% Ignored each of the victims. 

Microsoft owned Linked In “Managment” 

I hope today you feel some of the pain & shame of the truth, as we (the victims) felt with both yours refusal to act and allowing for the amplification of her lies.

The story so far…
We have an open ended restraining order on Linked In stalker, Sam Wall.

That’s the good news..

The not so good news. 
Less than 24 hours after this Crown Court Judgment and sentencing, that sees Sam spending the next 28 months in prison, her friend Jackie Robinson, Roots Network has picked up where Sam’s campaign left off, right here on LinkedIn 

Evidence gathered.
Police notified, crime reported

“Your Police incident report 
LANCSPE-210519 
has been submitted successfully.”

LinkedIn notified via a support ticket.
My MP Gideon Amos OBE MP notified 
National Media notified.
Our legal team notified.

This is now playing out realtime, we Naomi T. and I are taking the playbook we designed, of best processes we now know, be taken when defending / combatting any stalking/malicious communications you encounter online especially on a “Professional” network such as this platform. 

If however we can’t get this dealt with in some sensible way today, the case is in the point, of how insidiously rigged this platform is for a normal punter facing a campaign of legally proven lies.

So Jackie “a third party” Robinson, Sam’s best friend (pictured with red hair) has immediately continued Sam’s 4 year campaign… of lies, insults and insinuations, Sam of course now sits since last Friday’s Sentencing of 2 years and 8 months in Prison.

Jackies crime has been now also been reported and recorded to the Police and has been assigned Crime number: 04/183386/25

Because I’ve a Crown Court restraining order in place, that cost me 4 years of my life, mental health and a business to get.

You know… sat here in my Central Manchester Hotel, with my breakfast, just watching people walk past the window. 

Every single one of them’s got something going on.

One’s just found out his wife’s cheated on him.

Another’s starting a new job next week and pretending he’s not terrified.

Someone else has rent going out tommorrow and doesn’t have the money.

Maybe one of them’s got court tomorrow, hoping to finally close a dark chapter.

We look at people and think we know their story.
We don’t.

We just see the surface and make a judgment based solely on that.

The only one who really knows what someone’s carrying, is them.

This week I’ve had two messages from people apologising to me for believing my Stalkers lies about me over the last few years. 

I’m appreciative of that, as it takes character. 

Imagine how many negative comments and conversations have been had about me as a result of the last 5 years or so. 

There’s a reason there is less than 2% conviction rate because you can’t fight the lies in an open forum, unless you want the case to collapse. 

So today before you judge, before you rush, before you react, remember, everyone’s fighting something whether you see it or not.

And that even applies to our now, 5x convicted Linked In stalker.

Where you possibly can, choose to be kind, 
It costs nothing.

Yet might just positively shape yours and someone else’s day.

Or as I’ve found my entire life.

CASE CLOSED 12 hours on, by Linked In.
NO FURTHER ACTION, so now we have no choice but to seek hope for Lancs Police intervention against Sam’s friend, our now and new 2nd stalker. 

As you can clearly see, this platform, chooses to do nothing.
Again.

People wake up. 
Let’s all stop pretending that LinkedIn gives a shit about anything, other than profit.

This is yet another battle where users who are already trying to defend against crimes are forced into having, creating an additional high stress situation that requires them being left, to somehow find a way (4 year battle last time out) to make it stop…

You can of course see what a massively dangerous & mental tight rope that victims have walk right?

Fortunately this time around we’re not bewildered, disoriented, suppressed and in hiding, but transparently and openly sharing our entire experience and the system from within.

We’re seemingly being domesticated and farmed by LinkedIn in. 

We the members, are linked in. 

Today I cancel my £55 per month membership, apart from a clickable web link, I’ve never been quite sure what it gets me. 

Well apart from good old customer service… and member safety?
Oh.

Maybe it’s also your time, to get cancelled & abanonded, just like we’ve seemingly all been.  

Fun Fact: Back in Feb 16th 2006, I started a single group network for this very reason, when I was told by an American network that “the didn’t want my type” so I went on to create an alternative British business centric network, which I was told by the establishment “to not bother, as it’ll never work”, fortunately I didn’t heed their advice. 

4Networking would go onto be a £2m+ biz successfully running a total of 68,000 business real life networking meetings in UK for 14 years, before the Pandemic…

Oh yea we also had our own member online platform and 100,000+ registered members.

Are we really doing this? 
Again.

Quite possibly.

Fifteen years ago, this was it.
I’ve just been on the Wayback Machine, looking back at what I built back then 4Networking. An online and offline business community that connected real people in real ways.

Back then, online meant something.
100,000+ registered UK business. 

It was a place where, if you had a problem online, you could speak to someone offline. 

My HQ. We even had our own phone number back then

How quaint.

Back then, networking felt real, became its was real. 

We used to talk.
Now we tap.

We used to connect.
Now we collect.

Trust me, you personally don’t need 20,000 followers.

All you really need is 20 people who are aligned, supportive and who’ve got your back and your phone number.

Somewhere along the way, we’ve been domesticated by our devices, these platforms.

Trained to scroll instead of speak.
To react instead of relate.
To post instead of participate.

Real connection still wins.
Always will.

Maybe it’s time.
Not for a faceless digital network, but one with a face. Again.

It really was lovely catching up with Scott Hider at my place earlier today, fun fact, I helped him launch Accountex the event he Founded way back when, I founded mine…

It’s been a nightmare, yet a welcome one that you joined me on this, over the years we shared hugs, fears, tears and beers.

But now we chalk it up as a win, a scrappy 12 round points win, this was the only way this was ever gonna play out once we realised what we were dealing with.

We got the result and you missus are too brave, kind, beautiful a human, what you did, and let me explicitly spell this out.

Is you did the right thing.

Where others walked past, you stopped to help, me, us, why because you have a compass that points North, for justice, for doing the right thing.

You initially privately stepped in to help Sam, to help her stop, you saw the attacks she was making on others was unfair and wrong.  

That got you targeted.

The only guilty you have been convicted of in all this, is of by me, of being a strong, fair human.

This fight although “won” has left many of us involved in it with scars of various degrees.

Yet each of our lives, trajectories, careers will bounce differently as such.

Now we set to switch the polarity of all the negative energy, into something positve. 

4 years ago I was getting some nasty inbound as a result of her weaponsied lies… today our inbox and @‘s are full of light and support.

So as much as we do move on, we have to, we move on better, stronger, differentlly.

People don’t know what to say in situations like this, because it’s so uniquely unprecedented.

But every well intentioned comment I appreciate.

There’s only a handful of people that truely  understand the path we have had to walk. 

I’m one of them.

And I’m glad that we walked it together, sharing these last few chapters of our life story, we needed each other, I needed someone, that was you, because I just didn’t have the strength to do it alone. 

So thankyou Naomi T.  

I still think, if it happened again, you would step in again. 

Sadly It’s who you are. 🤣🤣🤣

Computer Weekly Most Influential Woman in UK Tech 2024 (2nd), Innovation Director, Growth & Innovation Consultant & Innovation Eco System Builder

My life has been torn apart by a sustained campaign of online stalking and harassment.

Thousands of posts. Relentless lies. Public humiliation. 
An attempt to destroy not only my reputation, but me as a person.

Across Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram, I was targeted in ways designed to instil fear, to isolate me, to make me question my own reality. 
It was systematic, obsessive, and cruel and it worked.
This week, after years of distress, the perpetrator was finally sentenced to 28 months in prison for stalking and malicious communications. 
And while I am relieved that justice was served, that sentence does not begin to repair the emotional, physical, and psychological destruction this has caused.

There were moments when I truly didn’t know if I could go on. When the noise, the fear, the hate became so overwhelming that I started to believe it.
 I questioned if I had any worth left as a human being.

The person I used to be, confident, capable, full of energy and purpose was replaced by someone living in survival mode.

As someone with ADHD, the chaos of constant hypervigilance broke me down.
 My nervous system was on permanent high alert. I couldn’t switch off, couldn’t sleep, couldn’t think clearly.
The toll wasn’t just emotional. It was physical, exhaustion, anxiety, chest pains, sleepless nights.
 It seeped into every part of my life.
I lost confidence in my work, my voice, my sense of identity.
 And as a mother, a wife, a friend, I struggled to be present. Because when you are being attacked every day, it consumes everything.

And then there are the words I keep hearing: “I hope you can move on.”
I know they’re said with kindness. But please, don’t say that to victims.
 Moving on isn’t a switch we can flick.

It’s not that simple. Because I’m the one who has to live with the aftermath. With the trauma. With the ongoing damage that remains visible online pinned, permanent, impossible to erase.

“Move on” trivialises the pain. It suggests closure when there is none.
 Instead, say: I believe you. I’m sorry this happened to you. I stand beside you.
That means far more than “move on.”

I am emotionally, mentally, and physically exhausted.
 But I’m still standing. Still speaking. Still trying to rebuild myself not into who I was before, but into someone stronger, more compassionate, more aware of what survival really means.

This is the reality of cyberstalking. It doesn’t end with a sentence it lingers in the silence that follows.

But I will keep speaking out, because there are so many who are still suffering quietly.

This has been hard, but if you know me, really know me. I have,  been there for you, showed up, protected, listened, laughed, supported, spoken, written, smiled, laughed, but since 2022 my heart has been broken.

Now is my time to heal.

“Can I pick your brains for 5 mins?”

It’s never 5 minutes.

Back in my old networking days, I remember driving from Manchester to Somerset.
In that four hours, I had thirteen “Can I just pick your brains?” Emails/dms/calls.

Totally unsustainable.

Here’s what I’ve learned since.
When people have to pay for the advice, 90% of their problems magically fix themselves.

If someone doesn’t want to spend their money,
I respect that.

I just don’t want to spend my time either.
Respect that.

Because funnily enough…

I’ve found many “urgent” problems disappear the moment there’s talk of an email with invoice attached.

I of course still help people, I’m a softie, I always got 15 mins for anyone if they prepared to wait and I always have 90 mins for someone who is prepared to pay.

Think of it like speedy boarding.
Your success is my business.

🟧 I visited someone’s office the other day.
Nice place. Busy. But I spotted the fish tank.

I said, “Mate, that fish tank needs cleaning.”
He laughed, said he hadn’t quite got around to it.

I said, “What does that say about you and your business?”

Because it does say something.

An untidy reception fish tank tells you a lot. 
It’s not just water and glass, it’s environment.

If the fish aren’t being looked after, what message does that send to someone sat in reception?

We leak the truth. 

And everyone who walks in sees it, they will notice the fish, after they notice the grime.

That’s the truth of life and business.
People don’t wait around to see the really good stuff if the basics are off.

Whatever that means for you, your desk, your inbox, your mindset.
Sort what’s murky.

Fix what’s been left too long, before it gets a bit too messy to tackle. 

Saturdays are a great day to start thinking about… finally getting round to cleaning your fish tank.

Me. I’ve learned to compartmentalise.
To pause.
To reset.

To make sure the best version of you is the one handling what’s next, not the tired, angry, or overwhelmed one.

Real leadership. Is self-control.
That’s how I/you/we build our strong through every up and protect our energy with every down.

Reset. 
Refocus. 
Go again.
