I check patients in for appointments in the main Otolaryngology clinic, check them out, and schedule follow up appointments as required. Usually between 100-200 appointments per day.
I also handle the orders for office and break room supplies for the clinic on a weekly or bi-weekly as needed.

Temporarily helped out in the Vestibular clinic 3 days a week while another employee was out on leave. Checked patients in, checked them out, and scheduled follow up appointments. Usually between 15-20 patients per day

Due to unclear circumstances, I was reassigned. I repacked parts from bulk containers into totes and relabeled them for use at the lines.

Material Handler

Basically, my job was checking how the inventory in the computer compared to the actual physical inventory on the production floor. This entailed generating count sheets from SAP for over 200 part numbers, then going out into the warehouse and tracking down individual pallets of parts.
When possible, I did what I could to correct imbalances in SAP vs the floor. It was not easy work, but I enjoyed it.
I also assisted in the creation of a Plan For Every Part (PFEP), which helped me learn more about the intricacies and idiosyncrasies of how the plant operates.

Besides ringing up orders, I also answered customer questions (lots of them, from the routine to the just plain weird) and collected and processed lane returns (unwanted stuff that the customers brought to the register to be put back). Controlling shrink in this regard was critical, as cold things have to be put back ASAP.

I worked on a Dungeons & Dragons -style game manual that was translated into English. The trick is ensuring proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation while making sure that the text keeps the right tone.

As a producer, I acted as a go-between for the customer and the voice talent. I mainly set up orders for voiceovers as they came in, prepared them for production and then sent them out to the talent to be voiced. 

I translated and proofread Spanish orders as they came in, usually at least 1 per week. Translating ads has its own set of peculiarities. For one, a script that reads in 30 seconds in English will often read in :35 or more once translated into Spanish. This is because Spanish requires more words to convey the same meaning as English. 

I occasionally served as a sort of pre-QC, listening to spots that had come back from the voice talent but that had not been checked by Quality Control. I compared the audio file to the script to make sure the talent read everything correctly.

I rang up orders for customers, created invoices and setting up orders for delivery. Being a cashier, I also served as an extension of the Customer Service department, and used my Spanish skills when possible.

APROMEX

As an intern at APROMEX, my main duty was to help translate material (English to Spanish and Spanish to English) for the company's website. I was glad to be able to gain experience in the Spanish business sector, and also to grow my network.

I tutored students mainly in low- to mid-level Spanish classes, but I also tutored a few history and economics courses as well. For most of the semester, I had 2 students--1 in economics and 1 in Spanish. I care about my students, and I pushed them to do the best that they could, without using me as a crutch.

I am a native speaker of English and fluent in Spanish. I am currently looking to expand my knowledge and command of Spanish, and start a new adventure, preferably in some bilingual capacity.
