Advisor to the Founding team at Atom, a technology start-up democratising research grant-making. 

Provided consulting on: 

• Scoping out ICP and TAM
• Building an outbound sales engine, with relevant persona-based messaging and outreach strategy 
• Building a Sandler-style pain funnel for prospect discovery
• Training and utilisation of a MEDDIC qualification framework relevant to conducting founder-led discovery and demo calls required to land first logos
• Refining demo-day deck and presentation for fundraising purposes
• Scoping cold-calling framework for outreach to ICP

Applied

Promoted to Commercial Leadership Team, reporting directly to CCO. Responsibilities in my current role have included: 

• Bi-weekly pipeline management, forecasting, and overseeing closing new sales.
• Successfully hiring, onboarding, and managing team of 3 AEs and 2 SDRs, with responsibilities
including building out and refining the sales playbook, coaching, 1-1s, and territory planning.
• Leading sales team to achieve 80-120% of quota over 4 consecutive quarters.
• Speaking in TA, HR, and Sales industry, featured on podcasts like TA Tech Unboxed, panel
discussions like Timbertalks’ ‘developing future sales leaders’ panel.

Head of Sales 

In my role as Senior AE, I was responsible for driving new revenue for our de-biased hiring software, with this senior role focused on key accounts. 

Tasked with executing complex new logo sales for Applied’s largest strategic accounts with AOV >£35k ARR involving executive c-suite involvement, and navigating complex tender and G-Cloud frameworks. New clients included Equality and Human Rights Commission, Unicef UK, Kornferry, and Satellite Applications Catapult.

Aside from introducing some of the most progressive organisations to our software, I delivered our SHRM accredited training days, webinars, and workshops on hiring best practices.

In my role as AE, I was responsible for driving new revenue for our de-biased hiring software, with a focus on landing new logos, enabling Applied to hit revenue goals ahead of fundraising. 

New logos sold to included:
- Government bodies like Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) and UK Anti-Doping (UKAD) 
- Leading non-profits like Unicef UK, Citizens UK/Living Wage Foundation, and UK Youth
- Mission-led scale-ups like Depop, Ella's Kitchen, Eve Sleep, and Skribble AG
- Leading VCs like Talis Capital, Local Globe, and Backed VC

Account Executive

At nez, I was responsible for driving new business onto nez's hyperlocal marketing tech platform. 

Specifically, my role involved sourcing, pitching to, signing up, and nurturing relationships with leading food and beverage businesses. 

Clients included Pizza Pilgrims, Pizza Express (Za), and Planet Organic.

I also ate far too many lunches.
