🛠️ I’m a builder. I love to identify a vision and figure out how to get there in a way that’s scalable. I'm interested in work that shapes the ecosystems and markets for climate solutions to reach commercial scale globally. I spent 8.5 years at Shopify where I: 1️⃣ Built Climate programs as part of Shopify’s Sustainability Fund (including the build of Shopify’s Planet app which enabled 6.5K+ merchants to remove 18K+ tCO2e emissions for 22M+ orders, working with ~30 of the most promising carbon removal companies globally, and building a repeatable carbon accounting and reporting process while writing/project managing several sustainability and climate reports) 2️⃣ Built the Social Impact function and team from scratch (8+ ppl working on impact partnerships across the Americas and EMEA, including international education programs that reached 63K+ learners in 1,600+ institutions, and Shopify’s first ever Indigenous entrepreneurship partnerships in Turtle Island and Aotearoa) 3️⃣ Built the Community Relations function and team from scratch (grew this across 5 geographies in North America, had 10K+ people through our spaces, and events each year) I am also a consultant and advisor, and work with rapid-growth businesses to build climate strategies and improve impact communications, as well as advising climate tech startups and the CDR ecosystem. 🤝
