As the Founder and Head of Education at Shapescape, I lead a team dedicated to creating immersive, game-based learning experiences through established games such as Minecraft.

From building dirt huts in Minecraft as a teenager to leading global educational projects, I've always had a passion for creative solutions and a love for games. Founding Shapescape turned this passion into a mission to inspire students and support educators around the world.

I am 31 years old. Growing up, the internet was a mess, but at least it was real.

If I saw a picture, I could trust it.
If I watched a video, I could believe it happened.

Kids today don’t have that luxury.
Every scroll through endless slop comes with doubt.

And if we don’t prepare them, they’ll drown in .
That’s why education can’t just be about using AI.

It has to be about questioning it.

 👉 Spotting what’s fake
 👉 Using AI without being used by it

AI content is rewriting reality and truth. It is already hard to spot fake content now, imagine how much harder it will be when models continue to improve on their current trajectory.

If schools don’t start teaching AI literacy now, we’re failing an entire generation.

This has been a long time coming, but I'm happy to finally be able to say that we’re hiring in our Ghent-based team! 🎉

At Shapescape, we build playful learning experiences that combine education, storytelling, and technology. Our previous clients include UNESCO, BBC Studios, Microsoft, and EY, and our work has reached millions of learners worldwide.

Now we’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join our small team in Ghent, Belgium.

This role is all about opening doors:

🔹 Identifying and qualifying leads among NGOs, museums, foundations, media organisations, and businesses.
🔹 Building relationships with senior decision-makers.
🔹 Working alongside me to shape messaging and proposals.
🔹 Helping us turn opportunities into projects that inspire and educate on a global scale.

It’s a hybrid role (typically 1 day/week in the office), with flexibility depending on the candidate.
