When I’m not living this life’s moments with my family, my time is spent between leading commercial construction projects at Dalo Construction, and acquiring and managing cashflowing assets for my private equity investment firm. An introvert at heart, during winter months I’m hibernating, banging weights in my home gym, and reading all the books I can find on business, leadership, finances, management, construction, family development, wealth building and any other “self-help” genre, with the Bible as my daily core. The rest of the year you can find me working in the garden, hooking a fat bass, flying RC planes, going on weekend lake trips, grilling a mean steak, or making homemade ice cream. With an achiever personality encouraging my brain to be constantly goal-oriented, big picture-thinking, and a visionary, reverse engineering any objective into bite size milestone steps until said goal is accomplished. Always organizing my to-do lists into a priority order and focusing on the most important task first enables me to stay mentally focused in the moment, time blocking my days, and winning every week. Some people fear the mental “white-space”, to me, it is key to my operational excellence. == My greatest motivators are: 1 - Utilizing my strengths to add massive value to people, teams, and businesses. 2 - Creating solutions and solving problems. == Life Lessons: 1. Humility leads to awareness 2. Awareness leads to better questions 3. Better questions create better solutions 4. Better solutions serve more people 5. Serve more people = make more money == Look at the value, not the cost. If that’s the way you’ve been doing it for the past 20 years, it’s probably outdated. === When I leave this life, I want people to feel that having known me was a definite positive add to their soul. I’ve got a good woman’s lovin, And If i get another day to be my boys’ dad, Lord knows I am a lucky man.✌️
