Responsible for Sourcing and Recruiting in a fast growing start-up environment.  Directly supported the Hardware Engineering and Program Management teams as well as helping with QA, IT and Marketing teams.  Highly involved in the entire recruiting process including sourcing, initial contact, interviewing, process management, salary negotiations and closing candidates.  Meeting with hiring managers on a weekly basis to understand their needs, fully qualify their requirements, and get feedback on candidates in the interview process.

I am currently aligned with three enterprise accounts here in the Silicon Valley that have a vendor management system in place and will be managing the recruiting process around all three.

Account Recruiting Manager

•Develop recruiting strategies designed to identify qualified candidates through various recruiting tools
•Evaluate candidates’ strengths compared with clients’ requirements by, for example, evaluating, screening, and interviewing the candidate.
•Negotiate wage rates and other terms and conditions of employment with candidates, and gain commitment from candidates for current and future job requirements.
•Complete necessary pre-employment processes including reference checks and background/drug tests.
•Manage contract employees while on assignment.  Assess and investigate contractor related problems, and administer performance counseling, coaching, and disciplinary measures when necessary.
•Communicate effectively with others in order to create a productive and diverse environment.
•Maintain relationships with industry contacts to provide customer service, gain industry knowledge, and get referrals and sales leads.

Professional Recruiter

-Manage 20+ recruiters on a day to day basis including training, mentoring and development.
-Review overall processes and procedures for sales/recruiting activities.
-Very involved in the hiring and integration process of all new employees.
-Travel once a quarter to train new emplyees on company history, structure and process.

Manager of Recruiting Operations

In addition to my recruiter responsibilities I was facilitating training to newly hired recruiters that joined TEKsystems. My primary duties were to train new recruiters from across the country including the basics of recruiting, negotiating, how to build network and how to gain a full understanding of the Technical Professional's skills, goals and interests.

I am a relationship based recruiter who is passionate about my work. I believe I should always have my recruiting hat on because you never know where or when you might meet someone that will want to work with you.  I have several years of experience with staffing in various industries including technology, financial services and consumer products. My primary focus at Kong has been on the recruitment for our CX org, Solutions Engineering team and G&A team. Kong is an amazing place because of the incredible people I get to work with every single day.
