The Area Coordinator fosters the development of students as individuals and as members of a residential community. This is achieved through: extensive student contact in settings within and outside of the residence halls; working with hall staff members and hall council members to develop a positive and open community; and supervising the performance of hall staff members as well as advising various student leaders. As Hendrix College South Side Area Coordinator, I worked with 15 Ras on South Side which consists of two male res-life halls and a coed hall. I also worked with 3 hall councils to plan campus events through the academic year in addition to reporting to the Dean office. 
•	Received an $500 dollar grant from the Dean office to sponsor a Safe Spring Break Awareness program. 
•	Co-Sponsored a Sickle Cell Awareness Program
•	Helped Conduct Routine fire drills for South Side
•	Developed a questionnaire to address the need of a professional social media presence for reslife. The questionnaire consisted of ten questions to be sent to other colleges, and then allow us to develop our own social media presence

As the overnight camp intern, I worked with our overnight camping and training opportunities for youth 5-19 years old and adults. I worked with the overnight summer 4-H summer camp staff and fellow interns to help develop the overnight camps for the summer.   I became certified to teach five different youth subject areas.   We had over 7 groups come to the Arkansas 4-H center with an impact of 1700 youths for the summer.

Diplomacy Matters Institute

It is my responsibility as the communication graduate assistant to help grow and develop Diplomacy Matters institution through communication assignments.   

•	Increase public knowledge about Diplomacy Matters efforts focusing on the youth.
•	Assist in aiding diplomacy campaigns.

•	Conduct grant research to help establish Diplomacy Matters efforts

As a member of the International Association for Study Pain team, it is my responsibility to work on campaigns for International partnership development, input data into the IMIS database, complete inventory list, and learn the business side of communication.

As a Communication Graduate Fellow for the Center for Civic Engagement, I worked to enhance the quality of the community efforts for the Center, research internal and externals methods of communication, create new communication policies, research communication equipment for the center, attend center programs, and serve on center boards.  

My key assignments included the following:
•	Coordinate with my supervisor and Noble Hour staff to help implement  a new volunteer tracking program to the GW Audience
•	Collaborate with a fellow graduate to prepare  a guideline for internal and external communication methods available to the students and staff
•	Collaborate with the marketing team to perform a content analysis of all marketing material in the center.  The end results produce statistics to discuss future branding efforts for the Center to consider
•	Assist with Colonel Crossroads efforts to greet guest
•	Prepare an end of the year report with guideline for purchasing for the center, implanting data on question pro, communication statics for the center, and implanting programs.
•	Research pricing of communication equipment and software
•	Produce Marketing Material for the Center
•	Assist with evaluation grants for the PSGC Commission

As the National Association for Black Men United information technology board member, I am responsible for providing new technology solutions for the organization to grow. 
My assignments are as followed:
•	Collaborate with the communication chair to produce new communication plans and goals for the upcoming year
•	Create Video projects and fundraising websites for the organization
•	Research grants for NABMU growth.
•	Draft email campaigns for fundraising to NAMBU key stakeholders
•	Maintain a schedule of NABMU fundraising efforts
