Something I didn't expect... 

A strong opening for KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, followed by a bit of a let down. 

What works:

The opening focuses on their heritage and it works well.
Clear message aimed at their audience. 
Cinematic visuals throughout.

What’s missing:

It’s all voiceover.
No real characters.
One human storyline could've changed everything.

Takeaway:

If your brand has decades of history, use it.
But don’t hide behind narration for the entire video.
Show us a real person and make us feel something.
