The Bull Dog - that was my nickname. Why? Since I didn't have a background in this space, I had to dig deeper, work harder and be more committed to making sure the job got done. And I never left a job undone. 

Our cross-functional, remote team, beat the odds and opened up operations in three new countries, which resulted in $25M new revenue for iFIT. 

Industry experience helps but....you'd be surprised at what can be accomplished with the right attitude and the right team.

I LOVED working at Real Salt Lake but never thought I'd go back for a second round....until that phone call. 

This was a transitional period for the team and we needed a bit of a reset and a refresh. So they asked me to spearhead creating new sales materials and build a new GTM strategy to start bringing on more new business.

In 9 months, we built the new material, launched, and closed on 4 new multi-year partnerships. Three of those partnerships were in industries where we didn't have any sponsors before. 

This was a short time, but a good time, and was only cut short because of a phone call from a former client, wanting me to join their team.

Talk about the job of a lifetime! I grew up watching Stockton and Malone and getting to work there was an absolute dream come true. Here's what I did with the opportunity....

Some of my proudest moments were bringing in a multi-million dollar sponsorship for the Tour of Utah, that was the largest in the event's history; spearheading an initiative to sell the Suite Level naming rights for the first time in Utah Jazz history, and in strategically aligning a new partner to sponsor the Utah Jazz dancers. 

This was more than a job, it was about making a difference. With the support of a sponsor, we founded "Her Time to Lead" in partnership with the Gail Miller Women’s Leadership Group, which aimed to help underserved high school women gain access to the tools and resources needed for college admission.

The best part about it though, was the people I got to work with. They taught me lessons that will be with me forever from team work to hard work to having fun along the way, these have been some of the best days of my life and I can't wait to have similar experiences again in the future.

"Hey! How do I get your job?" - me to the guy in the suit

I was in the supporters' section at a Real Salt Lake game in college when a sponsorship sales rep walked by in a suit. That's what yelled at him as he was passing through the crowd. Two years later, I had that very job myself!

It started as an unpaid internship and my excitement and passion landed me a full-time position supporting the sales team and managing their accounts. I LOVED everything about the position and volunteered to lend a helping hand wherever I could get involved from managing youth soccer clinics to overseeing the pre-game festival. 

The President called me into his offer about 18 months after being hired and offered me a promotion to join the sales team where I was the top sales person on the team for the next two seasons. Our team even won the MLS Partnerships Team of the Year award during this time - it was incredible!! 

"Take care of the customer and the customer will take care of the money." That was taught to me by RSL President John Kimball and is one of the greatest lessons learned at RSL.
