I’m an online copywriter that enjoys creating persuasive copy taking your online business to a whole other level. I create copy that converts readers into buyers and on-the-fence lurkers into diehard believers of your product or service. 

Who do I serve? 

Small to medium businesses in the tech &  b2b industry, with a view to working with SaaS and tech that helps to make life better and more meaningful through technology. That’s whether via an app, AI or a gadget that’s pure catnip to even the most resistant-to-tech puritan out there.

I also work on story strategy, helping businesses get straight on their brand origin story so that it infuses their copy and connects with their readers.

I’ll work with those outside my chosen industries if we’re a good fit, e.g.coaches, CEOs, industry leaders in their field and health (I have 10 years experience in the NHS). If we like the look of each other - I’m in.

My niche is in web pages, individual landing or sales. I now also provide content writing, that is, articles which are well-researched and go in deep. I'm also looking to work on case studies.

I'm SEO conversant but not a specialist, I can carry out SEO keyword research where needed or utilise what your in-house SEO copywriter or privately hired SEO expert has given you.

Where copy is concerned I firmly believe in voice of customer research, which informs the copy. It’s your reader's thoughts and words on what you sell that will bring the buyers to your door. I also use competitor and market research to create your copy pages.

I’m approachable, friendly and reliable. I speak Welsh fluently being able to write and speak the language and l currently live in North Wales. I can provide web copy in Welsh but not articles currently. I can also provide email communication through the medium of Welsh.

I'm Gillian and I provide web copy for nonprofits and tech-for-good that provide services or products for neurodivergent people or those with other disabilities. 

I also provide brand story strategy to solopreneurs and SMEs. I can also provide this service to nonprofits too.

I'm neurodivergent, so it figures I'd be interested in neurodivergent topics, right?

As someone with the lived experience of neurodivergence, I have a certain confidence when it comes to writing about it. 

I’m also on a mission to write for those who create software and tech for people either on the spectrum or with ADHD, or any other conditions which come under the umbrella of neurodivergence.

I love creating copy that speaks to those who will be most interested in what you provide. I believe in utilising voice of customer research so what’s on your website resonates with your readers. I also use other types of data, mainly competitor and market research. 

Web copy shouldn’t be about casually throwing a few words on a page, it should be crafted in such a way that readers are compelled to take action. 

I’d love to be a part of what you do. And if you’re a nonprofit, you’ll find my fees are reasonable, taking into account your charitable status.

My content services include articles, case studies, white papers and blogs. Articles will be well-researched with stats backed up with links to the source. I don't use AI to write my articles, they'll be human-centred with all stats fact checked first.

My copyediting services include non-fiction ebooks, long or short-form articles or web copy.

Full on snow in Wales, at least in my corner. Any snow where you are?

Really enjoyed my break. No doubt the algorithm will punish me dearly for this and you should be able to capture my joy at the beginning of a new year in 2027.

In the meantime, I’m working on psychotherapy copy and branding for a therapist and may be working on cochlear implant copy in the near future.
