Branton Zhang is a self-taught photographer, video artist, and painter from Connecticut. He graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2022 with a BFA in Painting. As a freelance artist, he produces and edits the majority of his work. His talent lies in authentic story-telling, with the urge to capture glancing moments in unique environments that reflect the interplay of light and shadows both behind the camera and on the canvas. However, he believes his greatest talent is his open mind and the ability to think differently to craft a meaningful narrative that moves people. Throughout his career, Branton has won multiple accolades and awards. His work has been exhibited in galleries, museums, and private commissions for clients. In defense of his nation and service above himself, Branton currently serves in the U.S. Army as a Medical Services Officer (70B) in the 118th Medical Battalion.
