I have worked in the tax sector for almost 40 years, with significant experience in the Accounting and Legal sectors as well as HMRC. I was amongst the first group in Scotland to undertake the Diploma and become a member of The Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP). I have since mentored a number of students through this programme. I advise individuals, Trustees and small businesses on matters such as tax compliance and effective tax and estate planning. As part of a more holistic process, I provide general “life stage” reviews to ensure that people and business owners are making the most appropriate decisions in regard to their own circumstances.
