Built a new medium for storytelling that re-imagined the traditional slide presentation/PDF to help salespeople & founders close deals.

Part of the YC W21 batch, raised $4MM from 100+ amazing investors, hired a killer technical team, acquired 200+ paying customers and 10s of 1000s of users through a product led growth motion.

Took a hard look at our growth after lots of iteration and decided it was not going to be the home run that we should spend the next 10 years on. 

Sold the company to a private equity firm (XO Capital) to return capital to investors in November 2023.

Joined at 200MM MAU and mid seven figures in revenue from 1 stream and played a tiny role in growing to 400MM MAU and mid eight figures in revenue through multiple streams. 

Reported into the VP of Product, owned a P&L, and led the business unit responsible for :

-Ads & data monetization (O&O, programmatic, API, content licensing)
-Strategic partnerships (Google, Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, etc)
-Product partnerships (email, identity, mobile, etc)
-International expansion (Japan)
-Corporate development (large strategics + acquihire deals)

I also launched the NY office and hired great people in sales & customer success.

Adroll Group (now NextRoll, Inc.)

Joined NextRoll (fka AdRoll) in 2012 at Series B as employee ~40.  Led various business development initiatives across enterprise, channel, international, data, and strategic partnerships.  Played a tiny role in scaling to ~500 employees and ~$300mm revenue. 

Reported into the Chief Revenue Officer responsible for growth of AdRoll's platform business unit.  

AdRoll Platform enables partners such as marketplaces (eg. Rakuten), marketing automation platforms (eg. Marketo), commerce platforms (eg. Shopify), crm platforms (e.g. Salesforce), payments (e.g. Paypal), local (eg. Yelp), and others to leverage AdRoll's  core product APIs, data consortium, infrastructure, and AI/machine learning tech to add advertising revenue streams to their businesses seamlessly.

Senior Director, Business Development

Reported into the Chief Revenue Officer and responsible for global go-to-market strategy, partnerships, sales, marketing, data, and revenue for AdRoll Email (fka SendRoll).  Grew revenue to $xxMM and data asset to xxxMM in 15 months.

Also led enterprise business development efforts in Asia - specifically in Japan, China, and Southeast Asia with MDs of Japan, Australia, and China advisors.

Reported into the Chief Revenue Officer responsible for building AdRoll Asia as the first employee on the ground. 

My focus areas while in Tokyo were recruiting, hiring, training, go-to-market strategy, revenue/supply growth, operations, sales strategy, and strategic business development with MD Japan and VP Japan (advisor).  Built office to 30 people at peak and from $0 to $XXmm revenue in 15 months.

Reported into the President & Co-Founder and was responsible for conceiving and leading the growth of AdRoll's strategic alliances globally. 

My specific focus was on ecosystem development and revenue for our Facebook and Twitter channel as well as driving new market expansion in APAC & EMEA specifically working with our teams in Sydney, London, and Dublin.  Grew revenue to $xxMM in 12 months.

I also served as the business lead for AdRoll Prospecting, which is now the largest opt-in data consortium consisting of over 20,000 enterprise, mid-market, and SMB advertisers.  My specific focus was early sales, enablement, and GTM strategy in partnership with Head of Product.  Grew revenue from $0 to $xxMM in 15 months.

Joined pre-IPO when the company was around ~2K employees and the business team was around ~200.  Sold a lot of FB ads pre-mobile and pre-News Feed primarily to E-commerce & Retail advertisers.
