Worked as a liaison between clients and laboratory personnel.  Took samples from clients in office and on-site under state mandated guidelines for collecting cannabis samples for testing.  Traveled throughout the state to collect samples from cannabis producers and reported to the state via METRC.  Worked in the laboratory to prepare samples for testing through standardizing samples, photographing samples, cataloging samples and storing samples while maintaining a strict level of legal compliance. Served as general manager for a newly opened Shango dispensary.  Assisted in the preparation and setup of the store prior to opening including setting up the IT, security, accounting, software and regulatory compliance. Met with product vendors and made store wide decisions regarding product inventory.  Managed all areas of day-to-day dispensary operations including product ordering, customer service, hiring and training of new employees, schedule creation, and inventory tracking and auditing.  Managed the point of sale software and day to day accounting.

-Helped increase annual sales from under $500,000 annually to over $3,000,000.

General Manager

H&R Block

Worked in a regional help desk and remote support call center supporting 1700 H&R Block tax offices with their IT needs.  Provided phone and remote based IT support for proprietary software suites, server and system administration, user policy, security, hardware, network, phone system and printer troubleshooting.  Logged support in a ticketing system and escalated issues when necessary.  

Setup new tax offices and supported existing office technology on-site at offices in and around the Portland metropolitan area.  Setup and upgraded PC’s, servers, software, hardware, and telephony systems in H&R Block tax offices.  Worked closely with field offices to ensure continuous uptime of all office technology and continued successful deployment of proprietary software for all PC’s and Servers.
