LawAdvisor was founded in 2015 in Melbourne, Australia with a fearless and ambitious belief: that everybody should have access to justice.  

Our mission has since been supported by thousands of lawyers, and has allowed us to expand and set up offices across the globe. We've since moved our HQ to London, and have attracted high profile investors and partners who have shared our mission to transform legal service delivery.

We're still not satisfied. The potential exists to completely revolutionise the practice of law. The start of the decade has delivered LawAdvisor with a new mandate: to overhaul and transform how lawyers work with state of the art legal technology in order to i. increase efficiencies; ii. automate routine processes; iii. increase transparency; and iv. bring legal practice into the 21st century.

Everybody should have access to the law. 

We hypothesised that the high costs, inefficiencies, and difficulties of obtaining legal help could be overcome simply by providing greater access to legal information, and by providing everybody with real-time access to high-quality, affordable lawyers online.

Founder

Supreme Court of Victoria

RedCrest is the Supreme Court of Victoria's online case management system. After demonstrating RedCrest's efficacy in the Technology, Engineering and Construction (TEC) List with a prototype that operated from 2011-2013, the Court decided to introduce RedCrest to the entire Commercial List. Brennan was awarded the Chief Justice's Innovation award for his work in RedCrest. 

With the support of the Department of Innovation, Brennan has been retained to oversee RedCrest's further development. Brennan has contributed heavily to the technical specifications that have been adopted by this project. 

Brennan also advises the Honourable Justice Vickery and the Chief Justice on matters relating to: 
- Technological solutions that can increase productivity for the Courts and the legal profession; and
- Legal technology

Development Manager - RedCrest (Supreme Court of Victoria's Digital Case Management System)

Brennan's responsibilities included: 
•	Researching, drafting, editing and publishing his Honour’s judgments, speeches and   presentations;
•	Conducting legal research for His Honour, and providing detailed analysis of case law and precedents;

Brennan has co-presented a number of papers with his Honour, including:
•	Thomson Reuter's Construction Law Masterclass: 'A Holistic Approach to Construction Dispute Avoidance and Management' (May 2013); and
•	Society of Construction Law Australia's Global Challenges and Shared Solutions: 'Managing the Paper - Taming the Leviathan' (March 2013)

Research Analyst (Property Economics)

Brennan is the founder and CEO of LawAdvisor. He is a qualified lawyer, developer and former PhD scholarship candidate researching the future of legal practice. Brennan was the winner of the Chief Justice’s innovation award for his role in the development of the Supreme Court of Victoria’s cloud-based case management system, was a shortlisted finalist for the LexisNexis Centenary Book Awards for authoring a book on dispute avoidance, and through LawAdvisor, wants to use his understanding of modern day technologies and legal process to transform legal practice.
