I have a lot of passions, and I act on them. I don't watch sports. I don't watch TV. I don't play video games. I don't party. I'm an audio-learning junkie. I learn as much as possible. I find opportunities. I innovate. I raise my family. Everything I do ends up being connected somehow. Yet, you can only really connect the dots by looking backwards, not ahead. I’m a geoscientist, data analyst, and business advisor, and I help lead StartUP Sault as the VP. At Startup Sault and with my business consulting, I work with new businesses to help them get money, advice, and connections, and I host seminars on anything from starting a business to using AI in business and everyday life. I've done many different jobs, from underground/open pit/exploration geologist, environmental scientist, business advisor, health and safety in mining and forestry, green tech innovation lead, policy and data analyst, and wantrepreneur. This has taught me how to solve problems, adapt, and understand people and business better. I believe in being open-minded, using data, and making a positive change, whether it's through teaching, building tools that you can use to make your life easier, or just by making you laugh with giant pumpkin shenanigans.
