As a Level 6, I was able to take on a vital role within a systematic process. The system? Creating a quality product and dishing it out with quality service. 

Working at In-N-Out Burger has helped me obtain the key working knowledge of what makes a business successful versus unsuccessful.

•Prioritize your customer: Create a quality product every single time. Make the buyer feel the value when purchasing; don't make them feel like they have been sold with a subpar product.
• Speed and a sense of urgency: Commit to serve. Again, this goes back to prioritizing the customer. They have lives of their own, and they're spending their hard-earned money and precious time here. Give back and enhance the value they are receiving, so they are inclined to not only come back but also simply feel great about their decision. 
• Hard Work: Hard work is an attribute that can take you a long way. Work hard. Break a sweat. People love effort. Effort leads to cause, and cause leads to effect. Working hard creates an outstanding effect.
• Leadership: As a cook, my duty was to ensure all operations were working in harmony. The product started with me, and I was responsible for forming the burger (In-N-Out's golden egg). I had to ensure the fry cooks were working efficiently and making their fries promptly so the meal would come out fresh. I had to ensure that the drive and counter handout associates were operating at a high level so that the food we had prepped was being served appropriately. Proper communication was the most critical factor and by far a key attribute to my development as an In-N-Out associate and person.

Obtained an education in Finance from the Fowler College of Business from SDSU, and I could not have been more grateful. This opportunity has led me to take on the challenge headfirst of learning more and more about the financial markets and all its complexities. 

The more I study the financial markets, the more I come to realize the significance of the economies that propel our society forward, specifically the benefits of a capitalistic economy and the allocation of scarce resources for alternative uses.

I have studied countless books on the economy, options trading, and how to become a successful trader through proper psychology and strategy (Thomas Sowell, Mark Douglas, Jesse Livermore).  My goal this year is to remain consistently profitable through discipline, resiliency, backtesting, and data interpretation.
