Director TechOps and Security

Key outputs : 
Responsible for leading the vision, development and maintenance of the existing and future IT strategies and architectures. These are required for the build, deployment, implementation and integration of appropriate solutions to enable business. 
Define the "to be" architecture ensuring alignment with business strategy to deliver appropriate capability at an efficient investment and operational cost level.
Ensure alignment to the longer term business strategy through participation in Global architecture governance structures. 

Strategy & Architecture
Guiding technology investment to ensure fit with business strategy 
Leading the definition of a consistent and effective IT capabilities. Active participation in delivering Global strategies and Architectures.
Defining, leading and co-ordinating an appropriate architecture governance forums
Establish and maintain architecture standards for each architecture domain
Reduce existing technology duplication, complexity and diversity
Integrating strategy and architecture plans and vision with each of the other enterprise architecture Domain Architects to ensure a unified, consistent approach to all technology services
Provide architecture consultancy
Review and approve solutions to ensure they meet the agreed architecture, standards and processes and align to the strategy
Ensuring the security of solutions adhere to standards to ensure compliance with Information Security policy and related controls
Responsibility for the Architecture roadmap providing advice and guidance for investment decisions. 
Communication - Establish and maintain a communication channel to keep the relevant stakeholders updated on strategy and architecture, and the roadmap and of future developments
