- Visit 6-8 district stores regularly and conduct inspections to ensure that all Save A Lot policies, procedures and merchandising programs are observed and implemented on a timely basis.
- Conduct thorough P&L reviews with each store to coach on opportunities for improvement and analyze industry trends. 
- Monitor merchandise levels in all district stores to ensure that inventory levels meet the needs of the customer. 
- Evaluate the competitive landscape and make recommendations to the company to improve advertising, merchandising, sale items, and price point.
 - Analyze and monitor the sales and expense figures for each store to provide feedback and make recommendations for improvement in order to ensure that store profitability is maximized.
 - Plan and set individual as well as store goals, and track the progress of each to ensure that objectives are met.   
- Recruit, train, develop and manage employees to ensure that stores are adequately staffed at all times and succession plans are appropriately maintained. 
-   Conduct regular audits of store paperwork, including bank deposit slips, overages/shortages, planogram integrity etc. and track trends to ensure that cash control procedures are in place and executed to company standard. 
- Perform weekly checks and quarterly physical inventory counts for accuracy and to detect merchandise allocation problems.   

District Manager

- Oversee, direct, and develop store operations and all operations personnel within a group of stores.
- Assume financial responsibility for more than $30M in annual district revenue.

- Selected as one of only three district managers to develop and oversee a divisional training center.

- Ran the pantry section in one of Melbourne’s iconic seafood restaurants.
- Oversaw the apprentice chef and was responsible for his performance.
- Cross-trained through every station of the kitchen, including grill and pastry.
